Historic Barnard Castle, 6 miles, boasts an array of shops, inns, restaurants, a splendid Norman castle, antique shops and the famous Bowes Museum, with changing exhibitions. The Metro Centre, Beamish and Lake District are an hour away. Visit interesting Leyburn village and The Forbidden Corner near Middleham. Fishing, golf and riding locally. Pub and cafe 2 miles.

Lovely chapel conversion in a great rural setting.
Lovely chapel conversion in a great rural setting. Ideal setting for walking from the doorstep and great if you have a dog.Owner was there to meet us, showed us round & told us the history of the chapel. They were really nice people & we will definitely go back again.

The Chapel was clean, comfortable & in a lovely location, we had a very warm welcome from the owner & a very nice welcome pack on arrival. Good walks from the Chapel, lovely places to visit nearby, Barnard Castle had a good range of shops for all our needs, Bowes museum is well worth a visit. Had a brilliant peaceful week at The Chapel.
