Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced drop, a fenced river in the garden, 5 yards away, and 11 steps in the garden.. Four Seasons is the perfect holiday spot, in the wonderful location on the side of the River Kent. Whatever the season there is always an ever-changing landscape in this beautiful area of countryside. From every window in this end-terraced cottage, you can appreciate the picture-postcard surroundings, with lovely views over the river. When the weather permits, you can enjoy al fresco dining in the garden.

Four Seasons is located on the Dales Way boasting the most enchanting walk to the village of Staveley right from the doorstep. Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere, Bowness and many Lake District attractions are all a short drive away. After a day of enjoying all this wonderful area has to offer you can enjoy the warmth of the wood burner in the cosy living room. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Four Seasons was the most beautiful holiday we have ever had.

Four Seasons was the most beautiful holiday we have ever had. Beautiful cottage and stunning views complimented by a peaceful surrounding. The cottage was stunning and so clean and had all the facilities needed. It felt like home away from home.We will definitely be returning to the same cottage! Thank you so much for such a wonderful first experience - we highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage. Everything one could need in the cottage and in such a beautiful location. Walks from the front door! A short drive into Windermere and the rest of the Lake District too. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again. The only one thing we did not enjoy massively was the low pressure from the shower. But that is splitting hairs! A big Thanks to cottages.com and this delightful cottage

Enjoyed our week at Four Seasons there was a problem when we first arrived but one phone call and it was sorted quickly. The cottage is very comfortable and homely. The kitchen has plenty of equipment but needs everyday things such as better baking trays new pans a spatula and nicer mugs. Could do with a door on outside porch so there's somewhere to leave boots and coats. Lovely views and nice walk to Staveley from cottage. Overall would recommend staying here and would book again.

I loved the Lake District.

I loved the Lake District. The cottage was very comfortable and loved the location next to the river. The fishing was good and the local towns were very good with shops and local pubs. The badger bar in Rydal is well worth a visit!!!

We had a lovely stay at the Four Seasons cottage; the property is in a beautiful location and there are easy walks along the river. Only a couple of negative comments: the pressure of the water in the shower is very low, we found a dirty nappy in a bag behind the bin in the kitchen and the pictures of the cottage did not show the apartment buildings opposite the property. Other than this I would highly recommend a stay at Four Seasons

Lovely, cosy, idyllic cottage and great location.

Lovely, cosy, idyllic cottage and great location. Cottage was ideally situated right in front of river. Tranquil walks on the doorstep and plenty of wildlife seen from the front window. Cottage was everything we had hoped it would be and loved the log fire. Would certainly want to go back again!

Beautiful setting.

Beautiful setting. Lovely cottage with excellent equipment throughout. Enjoyed every min of our stay. Would only recommend that the single beds need upgrade.
