Within walking distance of Derwentwater and the fells, this first floor apartment is ideally placed for exploring all the Lake District has to offer.. 9 steps to entrance.

All on the First Floor:

Living room: 32" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Electric Fire

Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. . Terrace (shared with other apartments on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are drops at the front of the property care to be taken with young children.. Catbells, one of 3 holiday apartments, is on the first floor and comprises a living room, kitchen/diner, bedroom, bathroom and a parking space immediately opposite. Situated just off the main thoroughfare, opposite the world renowned ‘George Fishers’ climbing shop, with all amenities to hand. A 10 minute stroll along Lake Road and through the beautifully manicured gardens of Hope Park lead down to Derwentwater, with regular launch trips around the lake and numerous dropping off points. There is parking nearby and once parked up, your car need never leave its space.

The fells are accessible from the door and in the evenings the nearest bars and restaurants are within 75 yards. The apartments are accessed via several steps and are spacious, very comfortably furnished, well equipped and have the benefit of Wi-Fi and a shared terrace. Beach 25 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Catbells can be booked together with Skiddaw (UK1083) and Blencathra (UK1084) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

Great location and everything in apartment that was required. Kettle was broken on arrival but replaced right away that same day so great service from the company.Apartment just a bit tired and needs a wee freshen up. Mattress was badly stained and to be honest a bit of a clean would not go amiss as very off putting to sleep in.. overall the apartment was great and the location. This is our second time here and will be back but hoping mattress is cleaned by then.

Catbells is in an ideal location and with the facility of an allocated car parking space the property couldn't be bettered. The pillows in the bedroom I think need replacing as they were not conducive to a good nights sleep [had to buy our own pillows]. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, we love this place and Keswick so it wouldn't stop us from booking Catbells again.

Stayed in this property 3-4 times and intend to again because of its central location, only 2-3 minutes from the town centre. We enjoy the view overlooking the busy street below yet it is quiet in the evening. We didn't mind the steps and stairs to access the property. We find the property comfortable, roomy, airy and well equipped, and have not been disappointed. The property adds to our enjoyment of holidaying in Keswick. We enjoy the parking space as we can leave our car and walk everywhere.
