Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Economy 7 central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. An attractive and stylish apartment which has been completely renovated and is beautifully decorated throughout, from the good quality kitchen with marble worktops to the wood effect flooring which is very comfortable in the cosy bedrooms. This is a very peaceful and relaxing apartment in which to enjoy your stay. Situated just off the main street, the apartment is only minutes away from the town centre with its abundance of restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and shops. A 10-minute stroll takes you to the shores of Lake Derwentwater. You won’t even need to move your car to reach the fells. Keswick nestles between the huge bulk of Skiddaw and the beautiful Derwentwater, and is well known as one of the main centres of outdoor activities in the UK, so for those with that adrenalin rush, it is the perfect spot. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

We thought the cottage was in a great location, though parking was slightly restrictive and the two flights of stairs after a walk were off putting. The interior had been modernised nicely and the apartment was very well equipped. The kitchen was quite narrow and that was noticeable if two people were cooking there together. The bed was king size as advertised (some are not in our experience) and comfortable, the prime requirement for a relaxing holiday. The bathroom was okay and the shower nice. There was no external noises so it was peaceful. Overall it was a nice apartment though we'd have preferred somewhere with a nice view which it doesn't have. Note that one of the photos of the external view on the web site isn't from this apartment.Concern is made however at the electric oven which didn't seem to get anywhere near the indicated temperature. We cooked a pizza early on and it took twice as long to cook as the package said, and other things cooked afterwards had to have carefully monitored extended cooking times before serving. It definitely needs to be checked and repaired or replaced if necessary. Finding the key on arrival wasn't straightforward and other new holiday arrivals had similar challenges for their apartments.The landlords common areas could do with sprucing up as the dark and stained carpets, yellowy walls, along with old warm white CFL 2D lamps made the staircases somewhat gloomy.

Great location, the apartment was lovely. However the kitchen is quite small and a small welcome pack would have been nice, i.e there was no teabags provided. Overall it was a lovely stay though.

This is the second time I have stayed at High views and again avery comfortable stay .The flat was clen ,warm and in an excellent location for the facilities of Keswick.I think within its price band it gives good value for money and would happily recommned to any one having a walking break in the lake district

Excellent apartment in just off the main town centre street with parking space. Well equipped and modern. Warm and comfortable. Storage heaters problematic. Not easy way to dry wet clothes. Great place and will return. Thankyou.

Excellent flat in excellent location.

Excellent flat in excellent location. Kitchen is well stocked, and everything has been thought of! Great base to see the Northern Lakes district. Would definitely rebook should we visit Keswick again.
