Aros Mains Apartment, Isle of Mull | Castle and sea views

Stay in a Georgian house beside medieval Aros Castle. Aros Mains Apartment offers spacious self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Mull, with room for up to five guests on the upper floor of historic Aros Mains House.

The house dates from the late eighteenth century and was built for James Maxwell, chamberlain to the Duke of Argyll.

With approximately 146 m² of space, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the Apartment gives families and friends room to relax. One bedroom has a king-size bed; the family bedroom has a double and a single bed. Access is by one flight of stairs; there is no lift. A travel cot and highchair are available. Enjoy a generous living room and an open-plan kitchen and dining room for meals together.

Just two miles north of Salen, the Apartment is around 100 metres from Aros Castle and 200 metres from the sea. The shore is reached on foot outside the grounds. Guests can enjoy the shared gardens and castle grounds, with coastal and woodland walks nearby.

Central heating, bed linen, towels and free WiFi are included. There is a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime and Freesat, and a Sonos speaker. Shared EV charging is available in the Apartment car park at cost; please arrange this with us. A car is recommended for exploring Mull.

We provide hand soap and a small starter supply of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, bin bags, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and laundry tablets. The coffee maker is a cafetière. A washing machine and indoor and outdoor clothes airers are available. There is no tumble dryer.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Pets are not permitted in the Apartment. Please use the availability calendar for current dates and stay lengths.
