The Misia Country Resort & SPA is located in the ancient village of Rocca Ripesena, overlooking a panoramic position on the woods and the uncontaminated hills of fornte in Orvieto. Rocca Ripesena, an ancient, suggestive and peaceful place situated at the foot of a vast tufa cliff of volcanic origin, from which the whole panorama of Orvieto is dominated with "the golden lily of the Cathedrals" about 6 km away. Even some geologists claim that in 1223 BC it was the volcanic eruption of bolsena that deposited in this soil the tuff rock mass of Rocca Ripesena and that of Orvieto. the Borgo has a few resident families, and a small and humble church that was completely rebuilt at the beginning of the 1900s and consecrated a few years later, where Mass is celebrated every Sunday in a very particular context, woods and hills are the setting to a panorama nothing short of fantastic. Misia offers 2 apartments and 10 rooms furnished with a combination of design and characteristic style to offer its guests an experience full of charm in a natural context rich in history. The rooms are equipped with every comfort to offer its guests a stay full of tranquility rest and warmth, while breakfast is served in the room giving goodness and refinement. It is possible to request one or more beds for children and accommodate pets. Misia offers the possibility of traveling to and from the station, the city of orvieto and surrounding areas and upon prior request the possibility to rely on trusted drivers for transfers to the nearest airports.
