PLEASE NOTE: Changeover days are FRIDAYS and MONDAYS, For any other days, please enquire. Note: This property only accepts minimum 3 night stays. East Lodge is a detached gate house situated in Rockbourne, Hampshire. It has one king-size room, which can sleep two people and a separate bathroom. It has an open plan living room, fitted kitchen and dining area. The owner will arrange homemade meals, a breakfast hamper and delivery of local produce upon request. Outside you will find a paved courtyard with an enclosed garden and furniture. There is off road parking available. East Lodge is ideal for a romantic retreat. One well behaved welcome.

High quality bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Paved courtyard garden with seating area. Small lawn. Off road parking for 2 cars. Home made meals, breakfast hamper, and delivery of local produce available by arrangement with owner. Well behaved pets welcome. Easy access to public footpaths and the New Forest. Walking distance to three popular pubs. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 0.75 miles. Note: Property more suitable for older children and adults but babies are welcome, high chair and cot available on request

Town: Rockbourne is an attractive country village, home to many tourist destinations, such as The New Forest which is one of England’s oldest and remaining forests which has officially been named a National Park. It offers many bridle and cycle paths and plenty of wildlife to spot such as the famous wild ponies. It is only a 20 mile drive from the historic Cathedral City of Salisbury and Fordingbridge is a few miles away which provides the nearest shopping centre. Not to forget the local store and pub a short distance away from your accommodation.

Relaxing and comfortable

The property is well maintained and offered everything that we needed. It was great to have a good sized comfy bed, a nice deep bath (and a shower) in which to relax after a day of walking, and very large towels! We self catered each day making good use of the kitchen. There were many walks along marked footpaths nearby, something which we (dog included) were grateful for. Also, we found other walks in the New Forest only a short car ride away. If you are coming, be aware that the garden is not secure for a dog. Laura, the property manager was lovely, making us feel that we could contact her if there was a problem (which there wasn't). A great place for a couple and a dog who enjoy walking.

We were greeted with a wonderful hamper. The accommodation and hosts went above and beyond to make our stay stress free. I would definitely recommend!

Living area has an open fireplace, sofa, window seat, dining table/chairs and french windows opening out onto a courtyard garden. Fitted kitchen area with induction hob, fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Stone floors with a carpeted bedroom. Outside paved courtyard garden with a bench, garden table and chairs. Home-made meals, breakfast hamper and delivery of local produce by arrangement with the owner. Pets welcome.
