Si está buscando paz, tranquilidad, hermosas vistas en un paisaje virgen de olivos y hermosos bosques con un rico fondo histórico, ¡no busque más!Una estancia en nuestra casa, enclavada en las colinas de Londa, un bonito pueblo antiguo a unos 45 minutos de Florencia, le ofrecerá una experiencia memorable. El edificio, un antiguo granero restaurado manteniendo sus características y diseño originales, tiene un jardín cercado con lavanda, romero y rosas. La piscina compartida (14m x 7m) se encuentra en un extenso y encantador terreno a solo veinte metros de distancia. Se accede a un gran salón con chimenea y un rincón para cocinar y se accede al dormitorio principal con baño en suite. Una gran puerta de vidrio conduce al segundo dormitorio contiguo con dos camas individuales y salida independiente al jardín. La casa es adecuada para una familia con niños y mascotas, ya que el jardín está completamente cercado.

Great find !

We absolutely loved staying at Maria Luisa's place. It was perfect and we will definitely go back. The house was beautifully decorated and perfect for a family with children. The garden and pool were amazing. It was the perfect setting for a very relaxed vacation.

A slice of paradise to relax and decompress

First of all, the place is just a Tuscan dream. You wake up to the sound of the wind flowing through the mountains and a subtle sunlight that’s guarded by the mountains surrounding you. Second, the cottage is so connected to nature that it really gives you the chance to finally relax, eat, read a book or do whatever you need to recharge. Finally, Maria Luisa is such a sweet lady and she really gives you all the details (and space) you need to work around all the utilities. We highly recommend staying here if your looking to desconnect and relax.

A peaceful getaway full of nature’s beauty!

Our stay here with Maria Luisa was the best place to unwind and enjoy everything nature has to offer. As a group of 7 women we all had our own space to retreat. Whether it was at the pool, in a hammock, in the beautiful gardens, there was a place for everyone. The pool and garden area was a favourite place to enjoy the vast surroundings. Maria Luisa was a gracious host ensuring all our needs were met. One week was not long enough. Each dwelling on the property had it’s own particular charm. This home was perfect for my sister and myself. A cozy, picturesque place that we called home and look forward to returning to some day. Thank you Maria Luisa for a memorable time in Italy!

Our Tuscan holiday

We had a wonderful time staying here at the two bedroom villa which is set in a beautiful garden with magnificent veiws of the surrounding hills. The large pool was excellent and a big hit with our two boys aged 9 and 14, and a great way to spend the time either swimming or relaxing by the pool reading and sunbathing. From the small town of Contea we took the train into Florence. Maria Luisa was an excellent host who was very helpful and welcoming(she brought us some very tasty stuffed courgette flowers!) Make sure you visit her family's 400 year old olive press - both interesting and fun. The villla's rooms are very light and airy, as you'd expect with part of the building being 500 years old.We have great memories of eating all our meals at the villa outside on the patio area watching the light move accross the the hills and forests all around.A fabulous holiday.

Stunning location - photos do not do it justice!

We stayed at Il Fienile del Poggiolo for 9 nights at the end of June with our two year old. The property is well equipped with the master bed especially romantic with its canopy. The mattress is quite hard but we like that so found it very comfortable. As previous posters have mentioned the second bedroom and bathroom are both located off the main bedroom, so it's better suited to families than two couples. Despite the heat the property was nice and cool inside. The really special thing about the property though is the outside space. The photos really do not do it justice. The garden is beautiful, with plenty of shade; full of wonderful colour and smells and buzzing with insects. At night it lights up with fireflies. The pool area is clean, refreshing and spacious with simply stunning views over the mountains. Although there are another two properties sharing the pool, and Maria's house adjoining, the property is very private and the pool was always quiet. Maria was welcoming and helpful but did not disturb us. The property is about a 15 minute drive from the nearest town (Londa) which is not at all touristy but has all the amenities required including a great grocers, butchers and bakers (all closed in the afternoon and re-open in the evening). I believe there are also a couple of restaurants but we didn't visit them as they didn't open until 7pm which was too late for our two year old. We flew into Bologna and it was a very easy drive to the property. We visited Florence which was an easy 15 min drive and 50 min train journey (beautiful but sweltering) and San Gimignano which was an easy 1.5 hour drive (again beautiful town and countryside). Would also recommend the free visit to Maria's family's olive oil mill - very interesting and lovely tasters. We also visited the Parco Zoo at Poppi which was terrible! Bear in mind that the property is quite remote which has its advantages and disadvantages. It is quiet, peaceful and stunning, but you have to drive everywhere and all the main Tuscany areas of interest are at least a 1.5 hour drive away. The property is so lovely and relaxing you may not want to leave it though! Thank you Maria for sharing your property

Fantastisk smukt sted

Et dejligt sted i smuk natur og dejlig ro. Skøn have og fantastisk poolområde. Man skal dog være indstillet på, at der er ca. 15 minutters kørsel fra Londa ad meget snoede og spændende veje, men de skønne omgivelser opvejer dette til fulde. Meget venlig vært. Vi var dog afsted i en meget varm uge (32-37 grader) så vi savnede aircondition for at køle boligen ned om aftenen. Og så kunne køkkenudstyret godt trænge til en opgradering. Men et helt unikt sted.

Erholung pur

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Maria Luisa empfangen, waren begeistert von dem Ferienhaus, dem Garten und dem Pool. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, gemütlich und urig. Die Ruhe und die Natur (Olivenplantagen, mitten in den Bergen mit traumhaftem Ausblick) lassen 100%ige Erholung zu. Der Weg zu diesem kleinen Paradies war anfangs recht abenteuerlich, man gewöhnt sich schnell an den Weg. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank auch für den leckeren Wein und das Olivenöl! Es war ein toller Urlaub.

Mooie rustige locatie in de bergen

Heerlijke rustige locatie met alles erbij wat je nodig hebt. Keuken met oven, goede bedden en badkamer en lekkere stoelen in de tuin. Plus een zwembad dat je deelt met de andere gasten. De weg ernaartoe is wel smal maar goed te doen, je went er aan.

Totale Erholung

Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch in den Bergen von Londa. Eine schmale , sehr kurvenreiche Straße führt zu den Häusern von Maria Luisa. Nachdem wir ihr unsere ungefähre Ankunft mitteilen konnten, empfing sie uns herzlich direkt am Haus. Sie wohnte mit ihrem Mann direkt an der Ferienunterkunft und konnte jederzeit angesprochen werden, was aber nicht nötig war. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem und alles ist sehr sauber. Natürlich ist bei einem alten Haus, welches ursprünglich ein Stall und eine Scheune war, nicht alles modern. Aber uns hat das Einfache gefallen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass trotz hoher Temperaturen, der Schlafbereich kühl blieb. An die Mücken und Fliegen mussten wir uns gewöhnen. Aber das lag bestimmt am der Jahreszeit und dem Klima. Die Kinder waren happy mit dem wlan und wir alle haben Abkühlung im Pool genossen. Wir sind mehrfach nach Florenz und können das Parkhaus unter dem mercarto centrale empfehlen. Von dort kommt man gut überall gut hin. Das Restaurant il colonnello ist sehr zu empfehlen und liegt ca. 15 min von Londa Stadt entfernt in den Bergen (Achtung: wieder viele Kurven uns steile , enge Straße). Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in Londa hatten. Gerne wieder.

Paradies

Das kleine Paradies liegt wunderschön eingebettet in mitten der grünen Hügel. Wir konnten uns sehr gut vom Altag erholen, die frische Luft und die Ruhe hat uns sehr gut getan. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet , das man sich sofort Zuhause fühlt. Es hat in Dicomana sensationelle kleine Geschäfte um Lebensmittel einzukaufen . Weshalb wir oft grilliert haben und unsere Abenden vor dem Chemine verbracht haben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zu empfehlen ist es auch für kleine Familien da Kinder wunderbar spielen auf dem eingezäunten platz. Während die Eltern im Liegestuhl oder aif der Hängematte liegen. Wir werden sobald es möglich ist dieses Pardies wieder buchen.

So sollte Toskana-Urlaub sein !

Mit unserer 17jährigen Tochter und dem 11jährigen Sohn haben wir, in den Hügeln über dem Ort Londa, einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. In dem kleinen Steinhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert hatten wir alles was man braucht, wir fühlten uns hier sehr wohl. Wenn das Wetter es wieder einmal zu gut meinte, haben wir auch sehr schöne Stunden am und im Pool sowie in dem schönen Garten vor dem Haus zugebracht. Die Vermieterin Maria und Ihr Sohn sind jederzeit für einen da und geben sich alle erdenkliche Mühe den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Auch der Kontakt zur Zivielisation, leider teilweise auch wichtig, bleibt dank Wlan erhalten. Kurz um...der kleine Spaziergang am Bach in Londa oder die Wanderung einfach in die Natur, grillen im Garten bei Wein oder Bier, baden im Naturpool eines kleinen Baches oder die Erkundung schöner Orte, dieses Urlaubsdomiziel können wir sehr empfehlen !

Erholungsurlaub

Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht , ist man hier genau am richtigen Ort. Inmitten von Olivenhainen kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Die urige Unterkunft mit dem wunderschönen Garten samt Liegen , Hängematte und Bestühlung laden zum Verweilen ein. Da es so herrlich war , haben wir an 8 Abenden den Grill angemacht und gemütlich unser Abendessen genossen - statt zum Essen zu gehen. Als Lokalität würden wir den Il Collonello sehr empfehlen. Spezialisiert auf Trüffel und Steinpilze einfach Top. (Leider war bei uns gerade keine Trüffelzeit.) Auch ein großes Lob an unsere Hausherrin Maria , die uns am ersten Tag mit allem vertraut gemacht hat. So etwas könnten wir uns einmal als Ruhesitz vorstellen! Einfach super.

Nice old holiday home located in the middle of a very green environment between the hills

The house was very nice located. When we arrived we were warm welcomed by Maria Luisa, where she explained everything. The road to Vierle is a challenge the first time, but you’ll get used to it soon enough, just drive slowly.. The poolside is just outside the garden fence and the view over there is so nice and peaceful. The pool is not too deep, so useful for our kids. Shops in Londa are small, but they have all the stuff you need. In Dicomano or Borgo San Lorenzo there are bigger supermarkets. We did the tour around the Olive factory, hosted by Maria Luisa, which was lovely! Her son Tommaso and his wife Nanette also hosted a wine tastery on their own vineyard, which is absolutely a recommendation to visit and experience. In the neighborhood, little towns like Poppi (great castle!), Loro Ciuffenna, Certaldo and San Gimignano are definately worth a visit. Virenze/Florence is very touristic, but so full of beautiful buildings, it is overwhelming! You could spend weeks there to visit everything… And last but not least: the caffé, the wine, the food in Italy is amazing. We’ve had only good and tasty food! Thanks!

Ein kleines Paradies

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht wird Sie bei Maria finden. Hoch auf einem Hügel, umgeben vom Wald, befinden sich drei kleine Häuschen, die man bei Maria mieten kann. Die alten Steinhäuschen sind typisch für die Toskana rustikal, aber mit allem was man benötigt eingerichtet. Bei den Häuschen befindet sich auch der Garten mit Pool. Da es insgesamt nur 3 Häuschen sind und nicht immer alle Mieter auch anwesend waren, hatten wir den Pool sehr oft für uns alleine. Maria war immer sehr aufmerksam und hat uns auch mit Informationen zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Unternehmen versorgt. Eine Führung durch die Hauseigene Olivenölproduktion und auch die kleine Weinprobe bei Ihrem Sohn Tomasso können wir sehr empfehlen. Folgende Informationen sind evtl. noch Hilfreich: - die Anfahrt zur Anlage erfolgt von Londa aus über eine 4 km lange, kleine geteerte Straße (ca. 10 Minuten) - die Anlage inmitten eines Waldes liegen, kann es schon sein, dass hin und wieder ein Wildschwein im Scheinwerferkegel erscheint ;-) die gesamte Anlage ist allerdings eingezäunt, sodass man Abends "sicher" im Garten sitzen kann - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Londa um sich mit allem Lebensnotwendigen zu versorgen - Restaurants gibt es in Ricine I´ll Conello, in Stia das Mandri und in Dicomano Sergio (Info liegt in der Ferienwohnung). Überall gibt es hervorrangende Pasta, Fleisch und Pizzen und Rotwein - Ein Ausflug nach Florenz ist vom Bahnhof Contea-Londa aus kein Problem und erspart die Parkplatzsuche. Une maison agréable et calme

Une ancienne grange rénovée et aménagée en limite d'un parc naturel. L'environnement est particulièrement reposant et la vue splendide. L'hôte est agréable et de bon conseil. La maison peut héberger max 4 personnes. Attention, l'accès est difficile, les 6 derniers kilomètres depuis Linda s'egfectuant sur une route de montagne sinueuse et manquant d'entretien.

An absolute gem set in Tranquil Surroundings.

Beautiful haven where one can truly relax and unwind . The swimming pool was enjoyed by my husband and I, plus, it was perfect for our 12 year old son who enjoyed making friends with children, who were neighbouring in the nearby properties. We loved going for walks up and around the mountains and we admired the 'locals' ~ envious way of life! There are a number of quaint aswell as rustic places to eat out, although be aware that these are a approx a 20/30 mins drive. In particular we were drawn back to Casa Del Procuttio, a friendly, family run restaurant set opposite a river, serving excellent, authentic Tuscan dishes. Here we borrowed bikes which are parked just opposite the restaurant/ delicatessen. Guests are permitted to use them free of charge and there's a safe, cycle track, with kiddies bikes available to. We took the 45 minute train journey from Londa to Florence where we went rafting up the River Arno, a totally unique and fun way to learn about the history of Florence. So many other places of interest and beauty to visit, Arezzo, San Gimigano, Pisa, but Ahhh ....after a busy, hectic day of sightseeing, we loved nothing more than to hibernate back in, admidst the stunning green, mountains and cosy up at, Del Poggiolo. We would choose this property again as it has a front, flat garden, which, allows you plenty of privacy to sunbath, enjoy quite family time, a BBQ area and it has very close access to the swimning pool. There is a cool, garden hammock which we all took in turns to use and loved nothing more to pass the zzzzz'z away and or read a whilst, simply soaking up the picturesque scenery of the hills and mountain's. . Marialouisa the owner of the property is a wonderful, kind and very helpful lady. Her family also run Olive Oil tour's and wine tasting tours which I'd highly, recommend. I can't recommend this accommodation & it's location enough.

Luogo molto rilassante e tutto ben tenuto

La tenuta ove è ubicata la casa è vasta ed immersa nel verde, con un grande giardino recintato ad uso esclusivo. La piscina è anch'essa contornata dalla natura, ed ubicata in un ampio giardino, con una frequentazione dei vari ospiti discontinua (a volta eravamo soli, a volte con altri ospiti, massimo una decina). La casa dove abbiamo soggiornato, un vecchio fienile del 500 ristrutturato, è spaziosa, fresca ed accogliente, dotata di tutto quanto serve (tranne la lavastoviglie). Le due camere da letto (una matrimoniale ed una con due letti singoli) sono separate da una porta a vetri, con una grande tenda, che non garantisce una grandissima privacy. Luogo adatto a chi cerca riposo e tranquillità, immerso nel verde: assoluto relax! Location che, sia pur isolata, permette in 15 minuti di raggiungere il primo paese (Londa) dotato di vari negozi e piccoli supermercati. I proprietari sono molto gentili ed ospitali, pronti a risolvere ogni eventuale contrattempo. Consigliato a chi cerca la quiete e la natura, e come base per escursioni nei bellissimi luoghi toscani.

Delightful hideaway

Great place to stay for a couple or small family. Private garden a lovely place to relax with amazing views. Drive to property not for the faint hearted but having said that me and my 80 yr old mum did it more or less daily. Londa has everything you need, train station for trips to Florence etc. A wonderful holiday hope to return one day.

A liitle piece of Heaven in the Tuscan Hills

When we arrived at Il Fienile del Poggiolo we were truly amazed and the photos and description didn't really do it justice. If you want peace and tranquillity, beautiful sunshine and beautiful views then you won't be disappointed. The property is wonderful with all you need and has a very private large garden which we used all the time. If you want to sightsee then the train station is 10 mins away and you can be in Florence in 1 hour and within easy reach of Sienna, Pisa and Livorno. The Chianti region is very close by for Wine lovers and I would recommend a visit the town of Poppi which is charming and provides some stunning views of Tuscany. Closer by the village of Londa and town of Dicomono provide everything you need and there are so many good and inexpensive places to eat. To be honest after two weeks this little piece of Heaven felt like home and Maria was such a wonderful help and so welcoming. We will be back again next year and I couldn't imagine going on holiday anywhere else.

I rent it out because I'd like to maintain it for my children and grandchildren and besides because I like this job that enables me to meet people from many different countries . Some of them have become good friends in the course of the years and ccome and visit us regularly
