We booked last minute for a bank holiday and couldn’t have been happier, the cottage was wonderful, everything was catered for and was very clean upon check in, the views from the garden are amazing and we will definitely go back, couldn’t have wished for anything better.

Great views
You get a wonderful view from the top deck and small garden room of the house. A lot of steps to get there so need to be reasonably fit. We had problems with the oven and heating but the agency may sort these out

Arrived at the local Sykes office to collect the keys, only to arrive at the house after a long drive to find they had given us the wrong set. We fully appreciate human error, but Jo whom came to deliver the correct set was obviously having a bad day, let’s just say not a great ambassador for the company. The house was freezing cold as two windows at the front of the property were open, the back bedroom & three windows in the conservatory. Not ideal in early February. Ventilation is clearly a problem in the two up, two down property, with the need for five Reed diffuser's, three gel freshener's & three basic dehumidifiers, the smell was quite overwhelming and fortunately we didn’t spend too much time in the house.
Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor: 1 x King-size , 1 x King-size bed (with en suite shower room) which can be split into two 2'6" single beds on request. Family bathroom with over bath shower. Open plan sitting room and well equipped modern kitchen including denby crockery set, four-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge, slimline dishwasher, microwave. Utility room with washer/dryer machine, third toilet and additional fridge/ freezer. Conservatory / Dining room with contemporary oak dining table and chairs, from which there is access to the garden Smart 4K 43inch TV (new for 2023) with Freesat and all streaming apps and a blueray player. Bluetooth portable speakers.
