Fabulous house fabulous location

Loved it! The house is perfect and in such a good location. We were there for a week and found lots to do, wine tasting (obviously) led biking tour and the museums. Franchoek is a beautiful little town with chiche shops a very good week end market and great restaurants. Thank you ps the plunge pool was nice!

Great pick

Great location, cosy comfortable, tastefully decorated apartment with superb attention to details. Friendly agent, easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend to all who are interested to spend some time at Franschhoek.

Wonderful property

The house and its decor exceeded my expectations. Fully equipped with everything one could need . Very comfortable interior and lovely outdoor garden with small pool. Super location very close to main street yet still very quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything Amazing!

It's not often you get to a vacation booking and are shocked that the property has even more to offer than what was advertised or expected. We were expecting a nice place, but what we walked into was everything we could have hoped for, especially for 2 couples travelling together. There's not one negative thing to say about the home, amenities, people and location.

Second visit was just as good

we stayed for 12 days and everything was as good as three years ago. Easy check in , spotless and great location with good secure parking. Only issue going forward is the air con upstairs is not as good as downstairs which when the electric stopped working made the room very hot. Lovely stay over all amd I would recommend it .

Great property but poor management of property

The property’s location, decor and cleanliness was great. However, all the positives about the property were wiped out by the issue of the faulty water boiler which was noticeable as soon as we walked into the property as the noise was so loud. We sent several WhatsApp messages to the agent who said she did not know what the noise was. The noise stopped and we went to bed but woken at 0415 with the loud motor noise echoing through the building - sleep thereafter was impossible! The owners came back to us later that day to say it was a known issue and to flick a switch in the fusebox to stop it. Why on earth would you not (a) fix the problem as soon as known and (b) tell your guests how to prevent the noise issue. Very cheesed off at the cavalier way the message was delivered about the issue 24 hours after being at the property as the issue cost us a night’s sleep and spoilt our only full day in Franschhoek.

The host that met us at the property seemed overly pessimistic and not helpful. The property itself was ideally located and generally in good condition. However, there seemed to be a number of items that did not work or required servicing.

Tolles Haus im Zentrum von Franschhoek

Ein schönes kleines Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und Bad, ideal für 2 - 4 Personen. Küche super ausgestattet, großes Wohnzimmer und toll der kleine überdachte Sitzbereich draußen, auch wenn es regnet kann man dort schön frühstücken. Kleiner Pool, nicht zum Schwimmen aber zum Abkühlen prima. Haniel hat eine super Übergabe gemacht. Danke für die Wein zur Begrüßung. Einziger Kritikpunkt es gibt keine klassischen Sonnenliegen und der Pool sollte öfter gereinigt werden, da man ihn nicht abdecken kann. Wir freuen uns hoffentlich auf ein Wiedersehn im nächsten Jahr. Laufentfernung zur Bäckerei 3 min und 6 in die Stadt, Parken ist sicher dort und man kann abends auch zu Fuß zu den bekannten Restaurants gehen.

Die Betreuung durch Tania und ihren Mann war herzlich und sehr bemerkenswert. Besser geht es nicht. Leider waren wir direkt nach einem Unwetter in Franschhoek und hatten 3 Tage kein Wasser und Strom im Haus

Amazing

A luxurious house that easily sleeps 4 that's in a good safe location and had everything that we needed to make our stay special. My wife and our 9 month old son felt immediately comfortable staying in this gorgeous house. Tania did a great job in checking us in, and helping us to find great restaurants/days out for our 4 night stay. The pool was amazing especially when the temperatures got to 35c+. Overall we had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for more. Great location as we could easily walk to the main road/area and we never drove more than 20 minutes to get to where we wanted to go.

Great accommodation and perfect location

This was our 10th time in Franschhoek so we can be a bit picky. The accommodation was as described and in a great location. The rooms were as described and the maintenance man Emanuelle was attentive and work very hard . We BBQ'd 4 times and this worked out really well. The checking in process was ok as I had no internet so was reliant on the agent being at the property at 5pm which she was fortunately but there could have been a bit more communication prior to me leaving the UK as to what was happening. I would recommend this accomodation for 4 people as it has everything that you need and is secure and benefits from having a local agent to defer issues to. We ran out of gas one day and the following day it was fixed which is what you want on holiday. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Fantastic property in a great location close to all amenities

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will definitely return in the future. Beautifully furnished, spacious and in a fantastic location close to the town centre. Truly a pleasure to stay there and we were genuinely sad to leave.

Tolles Quartier in zentraler Lage!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Quartier. Es ist alles da was man sich vorstellen kann und das in hochwertiger Ausstattung. Die Betten sind super bequem. Der Pool klein aber fein. Man kann problemlos in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt zum Essen gehen. Franschhoek ist eine zauberhafte Stadt die man unbedingt besucht haben sollte! Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!
