Large 4 Bedroom Luxury Villa on the Beach 4 Less!

This trip was my bachelor party. It was me and 7 of my friends, we all slept very comfortably with room to spare. The villa is huge! with a lot of nice furnishings. The cook! Get her if you can. We had huevos rancheros one morning and pesole as well. Shes a very good cook and goes out of her way to make sure you're having a nice trip. She cleaned up all our messes, I actually feel really bad that she had to clean so much. Besides the beautiful home and the fact that its right on the beach, we actually hung out with Terri, the owner one night. This would kind of seem nerve racking because you're trying to enjoy yourself in someones home and they are there, I'm thinking shes making sure were not getting too comfortable lol. Well it was honestly the most Quality fun we had all week. We all stayed up late and talked and Terri went out of her way to feed all of us at 2 in the AM while Alona wanted to order pizza, Terri said heck no we can cook. She really made us feel like we were one of her own while we were there. I can say we will definitely be back and a High recommendation to anyone else looking for a great place to stay right on the beach.

First of all, I want to give praise to the owner, maid/chef, and property manager. These are the people that made this beautiful home an absolute joy to stay in. Terri, the owner, has been wonderful in communicating all the details of our stay with us. She was very accommodating and met all the needs of our group that included 4 adults (myself, my wife, my mother, and mother-in-law) and 2 children (3 and 1 y.o.). We happened to experience a series of very unpleasant travel disruptions including multiple flight delays and cancellations getting to and leaving our destination. However, Terri was easy to reach, empathetic, understanding and worked with us to make last minute adjustments and ensure our uncontrollable travel issues didn't ruin our stay at her home. She also provided a plethora of useful information prior to our travel to help us plan and make arrangements while we were there such as transportation to/from her place and on-point restaurant recommendations. Erica, our chef and maid, was equally wonderful. We opted for the amazing meal plan and could not have been happier. She made breakfast and lunch daily with authentic Mexican meals and even catered to our children the best she could. I would highly recommend opting for the meal plan, it will not disappoint. Erica was always eager to please just as the other reviewers mentioned. We all fell so much in love with her cooking and cheerfulness that we were ready to take her home with us when we left. Even my youngest baby loved seeing Erica's bright smile each morning and couldn't stop smiling back at her. Eunice, the property manager, we didn't interact with much but she was delightful when we did and at our beck and call when we had made last minute changes to our arrival/departure times. The villa itself met or exceeded every one of my expectations based on previous reviews, pictures, and listing descriptions. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. You have your own large private terrace with a private staircase that leads you directly onto the sand and only steps away from the clear blue water. The views from the terrace and balcony are breathtaking; it truly feels like you're in paradise. The abundance of restaurants and the outdoor La Isla Mall (our favorite spot to shop/eat) were only a short bus/taxi ride away. We spent our mornings at the beach and evenings out- mostly at La Isla. We would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation. No regrets!

We had a large group of 12 people staying at this place and it worked well. 4 adults and 8 kids (4-13 Years). Kitchen has everything, maid was amazing, beach was right there. Place was clean and well organized. Only thing missing was a decent place to get a quick snack or food. Restaurants onsite were less than appealing - the smells coming from it were terrible!

Fairly cheap to get your own food and cook yourself which we did and it worked well.

The other unfortunate thing was that the beach didn’t open to swim for the 10 days we were there apparently Jan is almost always windy and wavy at this time of year. Tough for the younger and more reserved kids. The older ones still went in the shallow parts, but waves did get fairly big.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Solymar - the unit was clean and comfortable and decorated with a Mexican flair which added to the feel of being in a home and not a hotel room! Erica provided great meals and was a delight to have around! Wonderful place for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable vacation - the terraces have an extraordinary view!!

Our Christmas on the beach was perfect thanks to the owner, Terri and our housekeeper/cook, Erica. Terri left little touches, like an adorable lighted Christmas tree and numerous games, while Erica fed us delicious meals and provided a constant smile. Everyone, even our two 17 yr. old granddaughters, had a wonderful time, but who wouldn't with such an idyllic location and near perfect accommodations! In addition to the great condo, Terri's suggestions for dinner were right on target. We had excellent meals at Casa Rolandi, Fred's House, Navios, and theTequilla Grill in the Mall. Thank you Terri and Erica for a memorable Christmas on the beach.
