Debra was more than welcoming, she even left us food for the first breakfast in the fridge and there was plenty of coffee and cereals for our whole stay. She welcomed us with some fresh flowers and sweets as well. Everything was clean and the little shack was cute. Unfortunately non of the wifi options did work properly so we were also not able to use the TV.

I really enjoyed my stay at Debra’s place. The location was perfect, just a very short stroll to the beach which made it easy to pop down whenever I wanted. The space was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed.One of the highlights was the wildlife. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was beautiful and I even had a friendly possum visitor at night which made the stay feel extra special.Debra was a lovely host and made everything smooth and easy. I would happily stay again and recommend it to others.

Small but very functional shack. Was able to accomodate our family of 4. Ideally located in the ce tre of Jervis Bay. Debra was super nice and helpful.

Refreshing hide out close to the beach

The little cabin was nestled in a little bush area with so many delightful birds. It was easy to walk from there to the beach and although it wasn't big inside it had two rooms and all the facilities we needed. Debra was a fantastic host who delighted us with the provisions she left in the fridge for our breakfast. Parking there was easy and Deb had all the local knowledge you could ask for. We stayed for two nights and explored the beautiful areas surrounding it. Would recommend this for a couple.

Beautiful seaside retreat!

I loved my 3 days at Debra's beach shack! Even before my arrival she was very accommodating towards it being delayed by an unexpected medical appointment in Sydney. During my stay she enquired as to my comfort at her place and whether she could further enhance it (very discreetly via Vrbo, with our only actual physical contact being two chance meetings out the front, both of which led to very friendly conversations!) Her food supplies were spot-on in terms of both my preferences and length of stay (with the barbeque being a great feature of the property!) All other amenities were very comfortable (including high quality fixtures and fittings) so I never wanted for anything during this time. Vincentia is a beautiful area into which Debra's shack blends in very naturally! All in all it was a perfect location for me to enjoy the spare days I had between my week in Sydney and return to work several days after. I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for something similar at a very reasonable price!

Easy beach stay

A basic one room with bathroom, pull out lounge and kitchen. This is as advertised. Friendly (not intrusive) owner, very close to the beach. We had a happy and comfortable stay with good shops and italian restaraunt near fish and chip shop a short drive away. Will come back.

Fantastic weekend

Fantastic short weekend getaway. Had a great time with everything close by. Short walk to beach access. This little beach shack was neat & tidy. Debra was a great host. Would recommend.

Amazing vibes

We absolutely loved staying at Debra’s beach shack! Not only was the place clean and fresh but Debra was super friendly, accommodating and very thoughtful :) the best treat to come out of our stay was that we got to meet Debra’s dog, China! We all truly had the best time. For 4 people in total, we didn’t find the place small at all. In fact it was very cozy. Cant wait to come back here again one day in the future!

Deborah was phenomenal from the day we booked this accommodation to the day we checked out. The space was immaculate and her attention to detail made this accomodation feel very special. Wonderful place!

This is such a wonderful place! Very comfortable and clean, no need to bring anything as everything is provided. There was lots of high quality food provided for a lovely breakfast, bacon, eggs, cereals, juices, fruit, coffee and tea plus loads more than just the basics. There was lots of lovely touches, such as a vase of fresh native flowers on the table, brochures on the local area, free to use boogie boards and snorkeling gear. The best part is that it’s a 5 min walk to the white sands of Collingwood beach. Love to go back in the near future!

Friendly host but low quality accommodation

Host was communicative and friendly and tried to add thoughtful inclusions but sadly the property is very poorly fitted out and not up to standard for guests. Lots of dust and dirt in corners and under bed etc. Grout in bathroom looked grimy, toilet seat loose. The mattress had a large patch burnt out of it and looked like it was 40 years old. We slept with one eye open. Very poor value for money. The host left breakfast provisions in the fridge but there are many good breakfast places within 5 minutes drive so we couldn’t see the point. Money spent on the food would be better spent paying a cleaner to clean properly. The ratings and reviews I read beforehand were not indicative of what we found.

Nice peaceful place close to the beach

Debra was an amazing host, she made sure we had everything we needed, her place was clean, a few minutes walk to the beach and a walking track by the beach, there was a nice terrace surrounded by trees, it was nice to have your meal in an outdoor setting. She also provided some fruit and other things like bacon which was nice. We felt that the place for us was a bit small, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the place and we would definitely stay again.

Quaint shack

The shack is located walking distance to the beach, bike path and close to Vincentia shops which offer a broad range of both food and essentials. The larger town of Husskinson is also only 10 mins down the road. The shack is basically one room with bathroom, so suited to a couple happy to eat out and coming and going. The host provides many extras, such as food, and towels, lovely fresh linen, beach umbrella, magazines, videos etc which others do not. We enjoyed our stay, it was a little warm inside, fans provided but not much relief - except to jump in the water at the beach.

Unique Experience

Peaceful and quiet, having coastal bush with birds in the morning, having a helpful pleasant host, made our stay one to remember. Fun, quirky personal touches and thoughtful amenities were much appreciated. My daughter used the clothing de-piller on a favourite hoodie. The National Park is a treasure, so much more to explore for any nature lover. My only wish would be a single bed and pull out trundle instead of the sofa bed.
