Emocionante, divertida y acogedora casa de pueblo construida en 1883 con vistas tranquilas del horizonte del centro y del Gran Río Miami en un encantador e histórico distrito cerca del centro. El RiverScape Metropark, The Levitt Pavilion y varios bares / restaurantes están a poca distancia. La emoción del vibrante Distrito de Oregón también está a pocos minutos, ya sea caminando o conduciendo, ¡tanto WPAFB como la Universidad Estatal de Wright están a 10-15 minutos en auto!

Melanie was such a great host, the place was super clean, comfy, and well stocked with anything you’d need. She was communicative and kind, and the location was perfect for us, we are on a tour of a show, and it was very close to the theatre. Highly recommended!

Great location for the Solar Eclipse!

My family needed a place to watch Solar Eclipse and the location did not disappoint. It was near the river bank which was a great place to view, and get a nice walk in during the morning hours. The house was fully equipped, even had some breakfast items and a beautiful view of the river in the master room! We wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Charming and clean

This place is an amazing stay. We had a two night stay recently. It was amazing old townhome with new charm. Very clean. Organized and even came with high chair and more ! The supplies for the house were amazing. Truly a great experience.

Best Place To Stay for UD Flyer Families

Our family had the best experience at this quaint and quiet townhome! We only wish we had found you sooner! Perfect accomodations with tons of extra touches including a surprising snack cabinet filled with something for everyone! We were able to prepare a gourmet quality pasta dinner for Graduation and have a relaxed evening in! Great communication and support! We highly recommend this VRBO for UD Flyer Families, looking for quality time and memory making stays!

Wedding weekend

The home is wonderful. The hosts are very welcoming, the hand written note was a wonderful surprise! It was nice to have a place so close to our wedding venue to do all of our staging for the weekend! Would highly recommend this home and would love to have the opportunity to stay again. Needs a new mattress? The only bed the guest slept on was the queen mattress which is only a year old. I'm so so sorry that the guest might have found it uncomfortable. And the non slip bath tub protection will be something that I will definitely consider for future stays!

Highly recommend

We were in Ohio for a wedding and elected to use this to take advantage of extended family time, plus we have a pet. Skyline View - Historic McPherson Town was perfect. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, plenty of pillows, blankets - all the necessities. And to show it is pet friendly - a food and water bowl was provided. :-) The home has a very welcoming presence. Our host was very attentive to questions that we had. If you are traveling to Dayton and need a place to stay, we recommend booking this place. You won't be disappointed.

Vacation stay in Dayton

Lovely place with lots of nice touches. Drinks, snacks, and some breakfast items provided. Convenient .4 mile walk to Riverscape park. Appreciated downstairs half-bath, full kitchen, and plenty of space. Washer and dryer were a plus too, since we had been traveling for several days. Stairs and especially the claw-foot tub are not ideal for elderly or physically challenged. Bed adjacent to main bath was very low to the floor also, and not very comfortable. Bathroom location between two sleeping areas was awkward. Large window with no shade, (although it has frosted glass,) next to toilet was unsettling. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Graduation stay

There were several lovely aspects to this property- decor was lovely, location was good, and the host welcomed us with snacks and beverages. However, in order to access the only full bath (upstairs), we had to always go through others' bedrooms, which was not clear from the description on line. The claw foot tub was charming, but difficult for an older person (like myself). Using the shower was quite difficult, because the shampoo/soap holder would not stay in place. But the worst problem was the fact that there were mice. I didn't see them until the last night we were there, because I was up late. They were very active in the kitchen. I did communicate this to the host, but received no reply. Had she said, "I'm very sorry, we will deal with this right away," I might not have said anything on this review. But, with no reply whatsoever, I feel it only fair for any other future renters. Thank goodness, I'm not terrified of mice, but it was unsettling, to say the least. And there was absolutely NO food sitting out at all, or trash at all. We had removed all trash and garbage because we were leaving very early in the morning.

Awesome restoration of city townhome close to everything in Dayton. All new, modern appliances in perfect working condition. Everything you need and many special extras from an amazing host, Melanie. Will return just to stay in her beautiful home and walk the Miami riverfront trail and enjoy city parks and museums close by.

Beautiful Inside, Inviting, and a real charm!

Melanie was fantastic, the property was wonderful, easy to take walks on the river walk, and had fantastic amenities inside that made it feel like a home away from home. Very enjoyable stay

Loved the location, with the riverside walks, nearby parks, and access to the city. The house was clean and comfortable, with a lot of style and charm, plus everything we needed for our stay--even drinks and snacks. Fast and friendly communication from the owner, including a personalized welcome note. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dayton!

Charming property

The house was spotlessly clean. It was decorated very nicely. We were able to walk across the street and walk on a nice trail beside the river and also across the bridge into Dayton. There was a very nice park just across the bridge that we really enjoyed. We were able to meet the owner in person and she was very friendly. Thank you for the home away from home.

Short Stop-Over

We were traveling from North Carolina to Wisconsin and were looking for some place to stop that was roughly half-way. We figured to get in, eat some dinner, go to bed and take off in the morning. When we got there, we loved the home, and when we walked to a restaurant to get something to eat, we really liked the area as well. Unfortunately most of the other businesses were closed by then, so we weren't able to explore them too much. Then next morning, after checking out, we just walked around the area, exploring some of the historic neighborhoods in the area. We found Dayton to be very nice, and are considering coming back to visit Dayton again, as we feel that we weren't able to properly explore. The home is very neat and clean, and our contacts with Kelley were always nice and prompt (even when I messaged her the night we got in and asked for restaurant recommendations!). We highly recommend visiting Dayton and staying at this home.

Pleasantly surprised

When we arrived I was a bit scared that the pictures wouldn't match what we saw on the website. When I opened the door it was everything I booked and more. This townhouse is a gem. The owner Melanie left me a note with welcoming instructions and heartfelt words. The place is absolutely beautiful and cozy. My only minor complaint would be the Wi-Fi on my phone not working properly but that's because I have horrible service LOL. Thank you again Melanie for allowing us to stay in your home.

Our townhome is nestled in a very quaint, historic neighborhood with a super close knit group of people as your temporary neighbors. The neighborhood boosts a flower shop and a park with a playground and a Free Little Library. Right across the street from the townhome is the levee which offers spectacular views and the longest off road bike system in the country.
