Salt Ayre Beach House Retreat

Please note: 2 night minimum stay is required A 5 night minimum stay is required over the Christmas and new year period: 23rd December to 6th January. This house is on an island. No cars allowed. Access is via boat or water taxi service.

Salt Ayre Beach House Retreat is a luxury contemporary style beach house able to accommodate 8 to 10 persons. Features include modern granite kitchen with stainless steal appliances, large open plan living, 3 granite bathrooms, 2 private large master bedrooms upstairs, each with their own TV, ensuites, air-conditioned and a balcony. 2 bedrooms are located downstairs, 1 room with a queen bed, the 2nd room has two single beds and air conditioning. A third room downstairs has a TV and board games for the whole family to enjoy. The cosy living room has a SMART TV & DVD player , modern dining table and ceiling fans. Step outside onto the large timber decks to enjoy a large heated SPA, BBQ, outdoor dining, deck chairs, perfectly designed for entertaining or laying about relaxing.


ACTIVITIES

Enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful island. Be surrounded by the natural wildlife and the native flora. Follow walking tracks through natural bushland surrounds to explore the 27km of white sandy beaches. Find your superb fishing spot or simply laze in the sun and relax.

For the more energetic, bicycles and a canoe are included at the house for you to explore the island. You can pre-book a water taxi to go back to the mainland to enjoy activities and the local theme parks .

Swimming is available in both calm water and surf beaches (2km walk or bike ride to the surf beach. ALL swimming areas are not patrolled by life guards).

Restaurant facility and bar is available at the Tipplers Cafe . There are no grocery stores on the island.
