This spacious 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom holiday home is the perfect holiday retreat to relax and unwind.

The holiday house is situated between the town of Denmark and Ocean Beach (4km either way) and is conveniently placed to explore surrounding forests, wineries and beaches with many walks and drives in the area.

One of the most enjoyable features of the Lookout is the beautiful long balcony which stretches across the front of the house. It's a wonderful place to sit back and relax. The feeling of being amongst the tall karri tress is quite amazing. It's like having your own exclusive tree house.

You will enjoy some fabulous birdlife including all kinds of parrots, kookaburras, honey eaters and small wild birds. The house offers glimpses through the trees to Wilson Inlet. A wonderful place to have a glass of local fine wine and chat with friends or loved ones until late into the night.

The rear of the house offers a landscaped native garden with natural stone path to explore the native flora and fauna.

The main living area is located on the upper level of the house. The open plan lounge and kitchen have a great view of the surrounding forest. There is a six seater dining table and a beautiful cane lounge suite.

Free WIFI - We are pleased to offer NBN fibre wifi. You will also have access to Netflix on the flat screen TV. Enjoy watching latest films and top TV shows.

The house is fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning which makes winter stays nice and cozy and summer stays cool and relaxing.

The house has just had new carpets and flooring in all rooms. The beds also have new comfortable mattresses.

The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances to suit your needs. There is Nescafe Gusto coffee machine. There is also a laundry which includes washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Great property for travel with extended family, located among the trees in Weedon Hill, just 5 minutes from Denmark town centre. There's a nice view through the trees of Wilson Inlet and we loved the visits from local birds (and chickens!). Highly recommend this property, and Denmark as a base for exploring the South West of WA.

Long weekend in Denmark

We stayed for three nights in a comfortable cabin, spacious enough for our whole group, with room for more had we needed. Very good pressure in the showers and plenty of hot water for everyone.

A Lovely House in a Perfect Location

Just enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at The Lookout with my wife and 2 children. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. A very peaceful setting. Good location - near town and local beaches. Great area to explore. We loved Greens Pool, the wineries and the Alpaca Farm (A big hit with the kids).

Beautiful location and seamless check in. However, bins were full to overflowing on our arrival. Kitchen utensils and BBQ needed to be cleaned.

We apologise if the external bins were not emptied on your arrival. During the Christmas and New Year holiday period the bin collection dates are delayed. We do send a welcome email to guests on arrival to check if anything is needed. We would have been pleased to have arranged to send our service team to collect the bins. We use a professional cleaning company and will follow up on your comments about the BBQ and it's utensils. Great Location

The lookout was a great home to stay whilst enjoying the beautiful town of Denmark. The balcony is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a bbq of an evening. Our children loved watching the birds up close and we found the location perfect for our day trips. Everything we needed was available in the home and there was enough space for two families. It was a good base to travel around

On the whole property was satisfactory/good. Some cleanliness issues around the downstairs area in the laundry and bathroom. Personally would have liked an extra lock on the outside door, just one bathroom type lock seem inadequate.

The house is serviced by professional Denmark cleaners. They follow a strict checklist. I will follow up on the items you mentioned. We have replaced the broken glasses and bed that were reported damaged after your stay.

The property was clean inside but not outdoor area, Light in kitchen not working it was flashing. Two out of 4 electric gas burner are not working. Over all lights in whole house is very poor.

We have scheduled an electrician to install a new oven and replace the bulb in the kitchen. This is the first report we have heard of these issues. The house is serviced by a professional cleaning company who were scheduled to do a deep clean outside before your stay so will follow this up. We will visit the house ourselves this week to do a full check.

Never long enough in Denmark!

Very simple property and a little dated compared to others we’ve stayed at over the years in Denmark but it has everything you need and in a beautiful spot. Our group had 2 adult couples with 2 and 3 kids each. Beds were comfy and one family was upstairs and the other downstairs which was perfect for us. We bought some bird seed for the feeders and the kids loved seeing all the birds come and visit. The heating worked super well as it was the first relatively chilly nights since summer started. Downstairs shower doesn’t have much water pressure but upstairs was great! Some of the supply staples were running low so we visited IGA to top up, no problems. Overall we wish we booked a longer stay as you never have enough time to see and do everything in Denmark. For so many of us in the one house it was cosy but also spacious we could enjoy a movie with the kids all downstairs… Thank you Keith and Georgie! Xox

Denmark was good but the Lookout was disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay in Denmark but very disappointed with The Lookout. It is over priced. Tiered interior and furnishings for the cost. Some windows were grubby. Kitchen facilities poor. Lack of work space. Lack of power points. Can be dangerous when catering for 8 people. Aging cooker, oven didn't get hot enough to cook in. No dish washer. No work surfaces in laundry, no dryer. Lack of shelves in bathrooms. The dining table only sat 6 people. The bed was comfortable and the forest and birds were nice.

Our property is priced based on the local visitor centre recommendations and are in-line with similar sized properties in the area for this period. The house is serviced by a professional cleaning company so is usually at a good standard. I will certainly follow up your comments about the windows with our team. We do always send a welcome email and provide our contact to all guests so if someone does have an issue during their stay at the house our property manager can address this. The oven was recently installed in early 2018 so I am unsure why you had an issue with this. You just need to ensure the timer is set for the oven to turn on. We have since checked and it’s heating as expected. We will continue to monitor this. The furniture and fittings shown in the pictures are of a good standard and we always try to replace anything that gets damaged or too old. There are 2 dining tables which each sit 6 people. The kitchen does have a reasonable sized bench top. We do show images on our listing for your reference. In the kitchen there are enough power points for appliances such as toasters, coffee machine, hand mixer and kettle. Which are all available at the house. The house is a registered holiday home with the Denmark Shire and has been checked that it's suited for purpose and meets local fire regulations including wired smoke alarms, electrical checks and fire procedure. A dishwasher or dryer is not advertised on our listing. I would recommend you check the amenities listed before booking a property on Home Away. There is a clothes line in the garden and clothe airer in the laundry for guests convenience. We have continued to invest in the property in 2018 with new bathroom downstairs, High Speed NBN and Netflix which I see you enjoyed during your stay. We usually get very positive reviews and this is the reason why we open up our holiday house for guests to enjoy. If any future guests are looking to stay at the property or have any special requirements we are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Beautiful Outlook

This property is nestled amongst the trees and a fabulous place to stay. The accomodation was warm and inviting and the host was very helpful. The location of the property was ideal as a short drive to town and to the beaches. Would highly recommend!

Great location and well appointed

Great location being close to beaches and the town but not too close. Very quiet tree filled area. Air conditioning was a blessing as it was quite warm while we were there. Overall, we were really pleased and would stay there again.

Very Comfortable

Very comfortable stay for 7 adults, which included 2 couples and 3 singles for 4 nights. Quiet and clean, the bbq was appreciated and so were the bird feeders. Good location for everything we wanted to do, and the reverse cycle aircon in most rooms was a welcome addition.

We were very lucky a few years ago to buy 'The Lookout' and have loved visiting Denmark ever sine. We particularly enjoy the beautiful beaches, birdlife and the feeling of connecting with nature.

It has been so rewarding renting our house to holiday guests and hearing about all the wonderful experiences people have enjoyed.
