Secluded Red River Gorge Pet-Friendly Cabin on 3 acres (Serenity Falls)

Bedrooms 3
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

3 acres surrounding a horseshoe shaped canyon.

Serenity Falls Cabin is located on 3 acres in the middle of a canyon with breathtaking views. The cabin is conveniently located on Hwy 11, half a mile from Torrent Falls, 4 miles from Natural Bridge State Park and a half of a mile from Red River Rock House restaurant, but is very secluded. Wifi, Netflix, Hulu and upgraded cable subscriptions included.

The cabin sits in the middle of a horseshoe shaped canyon. There are unique areas around the property to explore including multiple creeks, beautiful old trees and rock formations that can only be found in the Red River Gorge. There is a seasonal waterfall that you can see from the porch. The waterfall runs in the Winter, Fall and Spring or after several days of hard raining. It is a 3 minute walk up to the cabin from the parking area, but it is well worth the seclusion and beauty of this cabin. There is a fire pit where you can cook over the fire, grill out on the charcoal grill, or cook in the newly remodeled kitchen. The cabin offers indoor or outdoor seating for meals and a large Charcoal grill for cooking. There are two Adirondack chairs situated under the canyon, which makes a relaxing spot for coffee in the morning, especially when it is raining. You can look out to the beautiful horse shoe canyon from the hot tub. This is truly a special, secluded cabin!

The cabin has 3 beds. One private master bedroom with a California King bed with a large hand made barn door. There is a loft containing two Queen beds divided by a wall. There is a nice sized couch for sleeping and extra comforters, blankets and pillows. New kitchen appliances have been installed and the bathroom has been completely remodeled. The bathroom walls are made of 100 year old barn wood.

New beds, new hardwood floors throughout the cabin, and a new wood stove were just installed in 2018!

You are welcome to bring your dog/dogs they will enjoy the vacation as much as you with all of the creeks and woods to play in!

Check in is at 2pm. Check out is at 10am. If you need to arrive earlier or check out later, please let us know in advance and we will see if we can accommodate your request.

We welcome any questions that you may have about the property.

About Felicia Snyder

We both live in Lexington, Kentucky. For a number of years, we had wanted to purchase a property in the Red River Gorge. When we found this place, we knew it was the one! We enjoy hiking and traveling. We have two dogs who love hiking with us in the Gorge.

Felicia Snyder purchased this cabin in 2016

Why Felicia Snyder chose Campton

This cabin has been our dream. We are so very lucky to be able to share this beautiful property! As soon as you cross the bridge over the creek and walk up to the house, you will understand why we chose this property. It is beautiful and a true representation of the uniqueness of the Red River Gorge.

What makes this cabin unique

The land surrounding the property is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on the porch and looking up at the rock wall and the trees is very relaxing. During the Fall, winter and Spring you will likely catch the waterfall running in the back of the property. Listening to the water from the porch is also very relaxing.

Beautiful, clean and perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I brought our 5 and 6 year old boys to Serenity Falls for spring break this year. The cabin was super clean and comfy. It included SO MANY extras! Shampoo and conditioner were provided as was toilet tissue, air freshener, Bath and Body works hand soap for the kitchen and bathroom and so many towels which was great when you have several people taking a shower and using the hot tub. Oh and there were several flashlights AND extra batteries. There is a lot to explore on the property. We hiked back to the waterfall and the boys LOVED it. Tip: stay along the rock wall to get to the waterfall in less than 5 minutes. The first time we tried to find our way to it it took us about 20 minutes. We laughed when we found our way back along the rock wall and it only took a few minutes. Our boys also enjoyed playing in the water down by the bridge too. We visited Sky Bridge, Natural Bridge and hiked many of the trails in the Gorge. We enjoyed lunch at Miguel's pizza and the Hemlock Lodge. We have great memories from our time at Serenity Falls and will definitely stay here again. Felicia was so great to work with and her attention to the "little things" really made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back!

This was one of the memorable trips I have ever taken. This place is simply amazing. Total privacy, cabin has everything you would want or need in a Red River Gorge trip. The property you get to explore, with the waterfall, rock formations, creek, trails and stars is a real shining experience. Can't wait to go back!

A true gem!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five (two adults, three kids ages 5, 8, 11) had a most enjoyable two night stay in this adorable and immaculate cabin in the woods. From the minute we walked over the bridge and up the steps to the cabin, we just knew we were in for a treat!! The cabin is updated and modern and surrounded by beautiful nature and scenery including a waterfall that my kids and husband loved hiking to. We built a fire in the outside fire pit, soaked in the hot tub on the deck, and relaxed in the cabin which was well stocked and had everything we needed. We had meals both at the cabin and at nearby restaurants including the Red Rock House (recommend). It was a wonderful and easy getaway coming from nearby Lexington and we would recommend Serenity Falls without ANY hesitation!!

Serinity Falls was even better than I could imagine. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a weekend away. The cabin was easy to find, yet very secluded. It was extremely clean and well stocked. We woke up to snow and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, listening to the waterfall. I would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a vacation. You do not even have to leave the property to have a great time. A lot of thought went in to this place and it is easy to see that. We will be back.
