Bella Retreat - Peace & seclusion in redgum forest

Located half way between Margaret River Town (5 mins drive) and the stunning Redgate Beach. Next to award-wining wineries, Xanadu, Voyager and Leeuwin Estate, Bella Retreat is nestled amongst gardens and 13 acres of beautiful jarrah and red-gum forest and is the ideal getaway.

A rural retreat where guests instantly relax as the hustle and bustle of city life is replaced by the native bird song. If you love the peace and tranquillity of a beautiful forest setting but love also to be centrally located then this is the property for you.
Abundant wildlife (our native kangaroos can be viewed early mornings and sunset), endangered Black Cockatoos, stunning flora and and wildlife can be observed as you stroll through the surrounds.

Guests can really get away from it all here, explore and discover or relax, recharge and reconnect.

We have been lucky enough to host hundreds of families over the past years and very much look forward to welcoming our new guests and those valued guests who return to us each year!

Child friendly, we have a beautiful wooden play area complete with swings/slide an 'assault course', climbing frame and lots to do for the children!
Have a game of Bocce on our court or a game of Giant Jenga on our porch. Reconnect with family by playing cards or a board game.
Toast marshmallows on our Pit Fire and have a glass of fine red watching the flames dance
Seasonal, due to Shire of MR prescribed burn times.

Dogs most welcome on approval from owner. Please note there are no ‘enclosed areas’.
Prior to departure, owners are required to clean up after their dogs.

We now are able to offer our guests Super Fast Wifi!
You can also access Netflix from our Smart TV. Just follow instructions there.

CLEANING:
Due to the limited time available to service the home, we request that guests ensure the home is left clean and tidy. Additional charges will be made against the bond should the home require more than a basic clean.
The BBQ must be cleaned by guests prior to departure.

WOOD is provided free for guests. It has become very expensive!
We respectfully ask that guests to not use our supply for the outdoor fire in the childrens playground (only to be used from May to October). You can source plenty of wood from the forest. Money will be deducted from you bond if you are seen to have not abided by this rule.

CANCELLATION POLICY : For cancellation or postponement we require at least 30 days notice in order to refund your payment. An administration fee of $50 per booking applies to any approved refund. If less notice than this is provided, we are unable to return your deposit and the $50 booking fee still applies. If less than 7 days notice is given, you will lose 50% of your total tariff.
Over our Peak Periods, no refund is given if less than 7 days notice is given unless we are able to secure another booking for the same dates.

Superb location, pet friendly, Bocce field, kids playground and big tyre swing, close to some of MRs clsssic wineries and the stunning Boranup forest. We had a great stay and would have welcomed another night. The weather played havoc for my mother’s 80th birthday but we hunkered down and got the fire blazing and the wine flowed. Happy days

Fabulous Getaway

We spent a lovely 6 days at Bella Retreat. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments and fantastic teas. It is such a beautiful area with an abundance of wildlife and easy access to the wineries and beaches.

Wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the aptly named Bella Retreat. It was a wonderful place to not only relax and spend time together, but also a great base from which to explore the area. The garden and surrounds were just magical and we loved saying hello to the local kangaroos and birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

80th birthday treat!

Perfect Little Getaway

This place was exactly what we were after... and exactly as advertised. An all round great house for people with younger children... or older. So much to do, so many areas to enjoy, entertain or relax and only a few minutes from all of what Margaret River and beyond has to offer. We loved it !

Bushland Bliss: A Relaxing Escape with Friends and Family.

A fabulous retreat surrounded by lush bushland, where the sounds of birds fill the air throughout the day. We even spotted kangaroos in the nearby bush! The meandering garden pathways add to the charm, and there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained — including the "big kids." Inside, the space is well-thought-out, with ample seating and generously sized rooms. The two large bathrooms were perfect for a girls' weekend getaway, offering convenience and comfort. There's also plenty of room to enjoy some solitude when needed. We didn’t lack for anything and truly enjoyed our stay, creating wonderful memories. Thankyou Bella Retreat!

What a fabulous and relaxing week

We had the most amazing time at Bella Retreat. My husband was riding the Cape to Cape race, so each day when he finished, Bella Retreat was the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. the outdoor space was amazing for the children and the indoor space was so lovely and cozy with beautiful fire which enabled us to relax and wind down. The kitchen was better stocked than our own home and there was ample space for food and drink. The giant bath was very appealing to soothe sore muscles and the kids loved it too. We absolutely loved every minute fo our time at Bella Retreat and will def be back! Thanks for everything Belinda!

Blessed to live in Western Australia and in particular to own this beautiful property amongst the peace and beauty of the forest in Margaret River.
We love that you can pop into town to shop, have great coffee, lunch or dinner and it's only a 5 min drive away.
Or in summer, swim and walk on one of the many beaches surrounding us or have a long lazy lunch in one of the many wineries which are in abundance all around us.
Winter warmth around the wood stove or sharing a wine watching the flames dance around the pit fire provide lovely memories.

The density of this part of the South West allows you to hop from award-winning wineries and bespoke art galleries, to stunning beaches, tall-timber forests, flowing rivers, world-class surf breaks and ancient caves – all in a single day.

The coastline around Margaret River experiences excellent surfing conditions. World renowned for their size, surfers from around the globe trek here annually in search of Hawaiian style surf, which they often find. Most reef breaks are within easy swimming distance from the shore.

World-class vineyards and wineries will tantelise your tastebuds like nowhere else. Responsible for only 1% of Australia's wine production, that small amount contributes 20% to the finest quality wines in Australia! Tours are in ample suppy which allow you to taste these wines.
