Incredibly spacious and centrally located this home is a great choice for multi-generational vacations or a getaway with your favorite couples. There are plenty of places to read, watch tv, enjoy conversations or relax with the ocean views. Bedrooms are ensuite and spacious. An unassuming home to make memories or enjoy some solitude with your group. Fully stocked kitchen including Keurig (and traditional coffee maker), Shark blender and Kitchen-Aid mixer. The home was thoughtfully designed to provide a straight shot beach walkway with only a few up and down steps (see pictures) to the beach.

A Big Catch's prime beachfront location provides quick access to a variety of local historic sites, shopping, dining, recreational and entertainment options. If this is your first trip to the Outer Banks, we think you'll find this home a splendid start to your adventure!

Family vacation

Plenty of room to spread out in this home. Great location right on the beach. Nice size pool. Kitchen was well stocked. Three generations of our family enjoyed the annual vacation here.

The location was perfect, so many shops and great food nearby (walking distance), Jack’s Burgers is a MUST HAVE. This home was spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was a good size, and the pool house was an added bonus as it was not featured or listed as a benefit/feature of the home. We especially loved the rooftop area over the pool house for hanging out at night. Beach area was clean. We loved the nugget that was available for the kids too, and the rollaway cots!

Beach access is somewhat difficult as there is a large dune to navigate. Location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We had an ac issue on the fourth floor which they did fix but had to come twice. Response to service calls was very prompt

Fun week with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A big catch is a great house and very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had a couple of big problems. The grills were barely usable. We called about them and somebody showed up but the problem really was not resolved. Another rep showed up Friday afternoon telling us we’d be getting new grills. It was too late because we were leaving Saturday. In any case, we never got the new grills. In the middle of the week, the pool heater went off. In the past, Wednesday was the regular maintenance day. This time they showed up on Thursday and said the heater needed water so it turned itself off. Wednesday was the warmest day and we didn’t use the pool since the heater went off. $600 to heat the pool- We had no way to know why the heater went off! Since we enjoyed our time anyway, we did resign for next year. Hopefully we won’t have these issues.

There were 20 of us and there was still room to go hide if you needed to! I would recommend this home to any large party wanting a nice house with a good location.

Overall, Wonderful…. 14 members of my family from Seattle, Little Rock, NYC, Massachusetts and New Jersey…. Kitchen area was Central and very well equipped. Pool, really clean (inside the adjacent area room could use the AC being repaired as could not be used other than storage) Sunrises were glorious. Proximity to ocean, wonderfull! Central location for the dunes, Bodie Lighthouse, Carolla and Safari tour… good… waterpark and miniture golf (go early!!!!) Thank you!
