We loved staying in this beautiful property. The location was gorgeous and it was large and spacious and everyone felt so comfortable with their own bathroom. We all enjoyed it so much!

Great for our large group

We loved the spaciousness of this cabin. All but one bedroom has its own bathroom which is great. The cabin was well stocked with the things we needed. Yard is very large. Two fridges is great.

Great Stay!

Nice place to stay with plenty of room! We comfortably slept 20 people, and could have probably fit a few more. We used the grill to make dinner for everybody one of the evenings and it worked great. Hot tub was nice and clean. Kitchen had everything in working order.Having 6 separate showers was very nice since we stayed here after camping for 3 days.We would come and stay again!

Amazing

We had the best time here. The house was beautiful and very spacious. The area is so nice and peaceful would highly recommend for big gatherings. The hosts have so many great things in the house for entertainment. Close to Yellowstone. We will never forget our time here.

Family Gathering Made Easy

This place was absolutely perfect for accommodating my entire family. With around 34 people, everyone had a comfortable space to stay. The kitchen was ideal for preparing meals for the whole group, and we thoroughly enjoyed the large dining room table. The location was stunning and conveniently close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

Family Trip to Yellowstone

This property was absolutely perfect for our family adventure. They thought of everything. It was so comfortable and convenient to so many attractions in the area. We had a total of 19 people who stayed from toddler to teenagers to adults. Everyone was able to have their own space and we even had room for more if we had needed it. Highly recommend this property.

Great Get Away

Wonderful yard for outdoor activities! Super kitchen for many cooks. ( But would have liked more dishes, as we had to use paper plates to fill in for a lot). Large bedrooms! House was a little dusty and one window was left ajar because of an electrical cord going outside. This caused this bedroom to have several “daddy Long Legs” in bed and in the room. Basement was cold!! But hot tub was hot !! In all, we had a great family reunion 😊

Fabulous Vacation

My parents had planned to take us on a vacation to Yellowstone in 2020. We all know what happened to that. We were then going to go in 2021 but again COVID concerns prevented that. Finally we were going in 2022!! We had everything booked and ready when the place we were going to stay at cancelled on us the last minute because they decided to do some remodeling to their property. We were so worried that we weren't going to be able to find a large enough place to house our family of 30 people comfortably at the last minute. We were able to find this wonderful property and the owners were so attentive and always responded to us quickly. We had a wonderful stay. I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you for making your property feel like home!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had our Thanksgiving in the cabin. We met some family from Montana and loved every minute!! There was 2 ovens which came in handy when cooking and everything was there that we needed. The table was large enough for all of us to sit at and we had a wonderful time. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.

Family Gathering

The property was great for our family group of 22 visiting Island Park and Yellowstone. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but everyone had a bed and the kitchen and eating area worked well for what we needed. Having a private bath in six of the bedrooms was very nice and appreciated. Cousins enjoyed the oversized bunkbeds. Overall, the house was clean and well organized. It could use a good dusting, but we understand that dust gathers very quickly. Check-in was easy and two refrigerators were appreciated. A close, small (but well stocked) grocery store in Ashton provided last minute needed items. The fall colors throughout the area were beautiful, and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our visit.

Great for Large Families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house! The house was very spacious for our group of 28, no one felt cramped. The great things about this house included: location to Yellowstone was convenient at less than an hour away, house was clean when we arrived, each spacious bedroom had a bathroom that made it convenient with so many people in the house, there was ample room for our families to sit down and have dinner together, the views from the backyard were picturesque and worked out perfectly for our family photos, the river across the street was convenient for fishing and tubing, the house was located near other well known fishing spots in the area, the air conditioning worked very well especially since we were there in the hot summer, there was a laundry room upstairs and downstairs, and there was plenty of parking. Traveling from afar, we had to purchase groceries for the week of our stay. I’d recommend stopping at the Super Walmart in Rexburg to pick up supplies. It’s a 30 minute drive from Ashton but it was an extremely easy drive with very little traffic. There are smaller grocery stores in Ashton if you want to make a quick run, but we needed to purchase some food items in bulk. Overall, our family really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the house to other large families visiting the area!

House is bigger than you think!

We had a great stay. The yard was amazing and river was beautiful. The pictures of the house don’t do it justice—this place is huge! Great for multiple family gatherings. Extra fridge and freezer space helps a ton. Not too many yard toys so bring your own for little ones. Stocked wood pile for fires was super nice! Thank you for the wonderful stay. It was perfect for us!!!

The right kind of space for a family reunion!

The hosts did a great job of setting this place up! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and a spacious dining area are all key elements of a family reunion and this place has it all! Additionally, the brand new hot tub was a huge bonus!

Spacious Family Venue

Wonderful venue for our family reunion and small family wedding reception. Spacious gathering spaces both inside and out. Perfect for multiple families each with their own bathrooms, plus a bunk room with full size beds. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and large serving dishes. We loved singing along with the player piano.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

This was the perfect getaway for our large family to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The kitchen was well stocked and they had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the amenities it offered. There was the perfect amount of room for our family of 35 to be together but enjoy separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Our only suggestion for improvement would be a working fridge in the garage and to use a different cleaner on the wood floor because it seemed to be sticky and attract dirt.

If you’re from around here, you probably know the Stronks! Jordan’s family roots are also deeply tied to Ashton—his dad grew up here, and his grandpa owned the local car dealership. After living here for five wonderful years, we purchased this cabin so we could always return to the place that feels like home.
