The cabin was absolutely lovely!! Great communication and instructions from the owners. I have a family of 5 and 2 dogs…there was adequate room and sleeping arrangements for us all. The kitchen fully stocked…had everything you needed to cook nice meals…3 smart TVs was a plus. The outdoor space was amazing. The cabin in general was just a great getaway to unwind and spend family time together. We will definitely be back!!

Very clean and cozy. Amenities were all in great condition. Location is tucked away enough for privacy yet close proximity (0.5 mile) to restaurants/brewery and less than 15 minutes from Beavers Bend State Park.

The cabin was perfect for us. The host had it decorated for Christmas and we loved it. We went out for the day and sat in the hot tub at night then watched Christmas movies. We were 4 sisters just wanting a few days away and we had a wonderful time. The host were very quick to reply when I text them. I would recommend the cabin.
We did manage to find our way out of the maze. It was fun.

To us the pictures were misleading! Half of the outside lights did not work. Paint is coming off the fire place. You have to log into your account to watch any streaming.The bed was comfortable but the furniture was old.The drains in the bathroom were broke. The fire pit was full of ashes so there fore you did not feel safe building a fire! There was black hair in the sink in the bathroom.The grounds had not been maintained as well as the patio.I was not going to leave a review but since I have received several messages to leave a review I decided to.

Loved the cabin with swings, hot tub, video games and foosball. Had a great time and loved the dear feeders next door and watching the deer frolicking and playing and the doodle out running in the yard. We have a doodle as well. Hostess was easy to contact and extend our awesome stay. Loved it spent time out the lookout restaurant, the hey sugar candy store, the petting zoo, the beach. What a great time!

PERFECT! So grateful we found this gem--it was perfect for my family of 5 (mom, dad, 3 kids under 12). And dog friendly!!! We saw wildlife, we were close to the lake, we felt safe, cozy and at peace. Can't wait to go back, would 100% stay here again!

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I came up from Dallas for the weekend without knowing much about the area and were so pleasantly surprised by the great location. It was close to the state park, Beavers Bend Brewery, and some of the best restaurants, but still private with it being tucked back in the woods. We saw deer nearby more often than not while outside spending time on the patio or in the hot tub. The property owners sent clear instructions and videos on how to operate things in advance and were available if we had any questions. We will definitely be booking here again next time we’re in the area!

Cozy, quiet and comfy

My husband and I spent a delightful weekend with our dogs in this cute cabin. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the location was just about perfect. The arrival and departure were worry free as well. We would definitely stay at the Blue Heron again.
