Wonderful location with stunning views of Mt Sturgeon and Mount Abrupt from the bedrooms and the kitchen /living room. A very comfortable and light-filled house. The owner's thoughtul preparation of the house means guests are guaranteed a memorable stay. Easy access to the National Park's many attractions.

We loved our stay and the whole house has unforgettable views and is very comfortable and warm. The kitchen could do with a few staples like oil, cling wrap/baking paper/foil and probably a few more bowls. We would definitely stay here again

Great location, very comfortable home for the 3 of us. Nice walking distance to Royal Mail Hotel and access to the Southern side of the Grampians.Lovely and warm/cosy, would recommend.

Beautiful surrounds with spectacular views

A warm, spacious and well equiped house with astounding views! Kerri was very responsive when we had an issue with the gas fire and had it fixed in no time. Enjoyed the bird life, the comfy bed and the block out blinds! Loved Dunkeld's Royal Mail Hotel and kitchen garden, bakery, Providore and beautiful walks.

Peaceful stay with beautiful views

The views of the Mount Sturgeon & Mount Abrupt from the property is the USP for this property. The property can help the tennants by provision of better toiletries including laundry powder ( Minor point). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall.

Stunning views in a great location

The views from this home are stunning! You feel like you are in a lovely secluded spot even though it’s only a short walk to Dunkeld. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. Great communication from host. We would love to come back.

Highly recommend Kerala House

Beautiful scenery and very comfortable accommodation. Host was helpful, beds were very comfortable, the town of Dunkeld was charming. Note - there is no local grocery store that we could find, so bring what you need with you. Also, the eateries close earlier that you expect so check the times beforehand. Would definitely recommend a get away at Kerala House.

Kerala House - Grampians in the spring

House proved to be exactly as described. Comfortable place to retire to at the end of days of hiking and exploring the region. Despite just being off the main road, the double glazed windows and rooms facing towards Mt Sturgeon, meant it was super quiet inside. Wildflowers on full display in the mountains. 5 min walk to Royal Mail Hotel and township. Best to bring own food supplies as the closest supermarket is either Halls Gap or Hamilton. We believe there are plans for one next year. Staples of milk and bread can still be purchased in town. Thank-you to the owners for sharing this piece of paradise.

Beautiful Grampians Stop Over

What a gorgeous house, and the view was amazing. Had everything we needed. Communication was great, check in a breeze and easy parking. Dunkeld is a gorgeous place for a Grampian stop over away from the crowds. We would highly recommend and will stay again.

Beautiful House

Thank you Kerri for creating this beautiful house. Both couples loved the ensuite bedrooms (especially the views), the BBQ was great even on a wet day, the kitchen provided everything we needed, relaxing on the comfy couches watching the gas log fire & tv and early morning walks on the trail at the bottom of the hill made the perfect weekend away - we all wanted to stay another night. Would definitely recommend Kerala House.

A Gem in the Southern Grampians

This is an impressive property. The house is a real standout, with great facilities and a real elegant feel. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, with both having an ensuite being an welcome feature. The outlook is an absolute stunner, the view from basically every room is jaw dropping and you feel really in the country while still being only 300m from the Royal mail. A great getaway base to explore the region and to enjoy the delights of the Royal Mail and compared to the costs of most rooms at the RM, very reasonable for superior accommodation. A winner all round.

Lovely place great location

Kerri came to greet us in person even before check in time. Her place is superb, comfy beds, impressive views, very tasteful decor, all commodities imaginable, will recommend it to anyone.
