Mi Casa is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach house ideally situated in the heart of Byron Bay, just a 3-minute stroll from the town's vibrant shops, popular restaurants and stunning beaches. This central location means you can easily explore everything Byron Bay has to offer on foot, making it perfect for visitors wanting to immerse themselves in the local lifestyle without needing a car. The property boasts undercover verandahs at both front and rear, offering protected outdoor enjoyment regardless of weather, plus a private, fully-fenced backyard that provides a secure space for children and pets to play.

Living:

The spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining area flows seamlessly onto the separate outdoor dining and BBQ patio at the rear, complemented by another outdoor lounge space – ideal for enjoying afternoon cocktails. Connect your device to the integrated sound system, slip off your thongs and unwind in absolute bliss!

Bedding:

The master bedroom features a queen-size bed and private ensuite with a generous shower. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom contains a double bunk on the bottom with a single bunk positioned above.

Bathrooms:

The main bathroom includes both bath and shower facilities, finished with therapeutic pebble tiles underfoot. Cotton linen and towels are provided, along with extra-large beach towels and Sanctum body products. For added convenience, a private outdoor shower is situated at the rear of the house – perfect after refreshing beach swims.

Parking:

Undercover parking is available for one vehicle, with ample additional off-street space for any extra cars in your party.

Extra Features:

While Mi Casa is not specifically designed for disabled access, it is wheelchair-friendly with accessibility ramps at the front and living across one level.

If traveling with another group who wishes to stay close by, ask about our sister property next door that sleeps 4 guests. A convenient gate joins both properties for easy access between them.

Mia Casa

Perfect sized, clean and tidy house, pet friendly with fully secured yard front and back. The house is situated within walking distance to town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Expected a lovely stay but just constant trouble. Lights flickering gate jammed. Oven didn’t work. Had to be replaced but agent acted like we were a nuisance. Kitchen utensils shocking. 5 days of our 8 day holiday were ruined. Add on the fact that house is now on new by pass. House also dark and cold. Much better accomodation in Byron

Not like the pictures - needs lots of TLC

I never write reviews, but for the not insignificant money we paid I felt we didn't get value. We had to contact the property manager several times to sort issues out, which we shouldn't have needed to do. Some key points (and there were many more): - The kitchen was woefully under-equipped eg no baking tray, baking dishes, casserole dishes except for a tiny one, no medium or large saucepans, whisk or garlic crusher and the frypans were greasy and old (toxic non stick) - The place wasn't clean eg my feet were filthy after walking on the floor, you wouldn't want to sit on the outside couches that were dirty, the back outdoor area hadn't been swept, the outdoor table was stained (I had to clean it myself) - There was neglect eg 4 drawers in various rooms wouldn't close and were annoying and unsafe, the outside furniture was coming undone, the main bedroom door wouldn't stay closed - Some furniture was grotty and past its use-by date eg the lounge was stained and disgusting looking, and the two lounge chairs that had covers on them had collapsed middles - The beds were hard and the mattresses felt old and worn - There was no coffee machine or coffee for the 2-cup plunger. Also, there wasn't enough toilet paper, and no hand wash or tissues - For 2 days we had workmen building a gate which was noisy and intrusive (on another occasion they were near our bedroom window talking electrics without knocking on our door) - The house is now on a major Bypass and almost opposite a new bus station, which will further up the noise. It will be much noisier - There was no BBQ cleaning tool or gas yet there were many rules about having to clean it and there was supposed to be a spare bottle (the one bottle was near empty) - The owners live at the back and one day I was sitting outside when one of them walked in through the back gate to put some rubbish in one of our bins and put them out. She didn't ask permission (legally we were renting the property). From then on we felt uncomfortable sitting outside and sunbaking - The property manager spammed my phone with texts about competitions when I was trying to escape social media! I asked them stop but it continued. All in all, it was hard work when it shouldn't have been and detracted from our holiday. We love Byron Bay and enjoyed our time regardless, but our experience with the house was frustrating despite the high rent.

Overall good beach holiday house

We stayed at this house in Jan. Overall happy with the house and facilities. Perfect for a beach holiday. Aircon was in the main room and one bedroom but not in master room and third bedroom making it really hot in these rooms during the day/night. Nice outdoor space at the front and back.

A really good spot

The property was lovely and in a really great spot. Walking distance to everything but still away from the hustle & bustle of town. We would definately stay there again.

Winter getaway

The property was very nice, just as it was described in the listing. It was also ideal for kids. The location was generally excellent, just a short walk to the Main Street. What surprised us a little was the street the house was on was a little rough and ready, literally, in that the road was full of quite large pot holes with no foot paths which made pushing a pram difficult. In terms of location, we thought that the other side of the train tracks would probably have been a bit nicer.

Definitely recommend

close to the centre, pet friendly which was a HUGE plus about this property. It was clean and rooms are good size - would be perfect for a family as well as a group of friends.

What an unexpected treasure! Our family (2A&4Kids)and my sisters family (2A & 2kids) decided on a little getaway on the spur of the moment and found MiCasa and just next door SuCasa right in the heart of town and easy walk to the beach. Modern, clean, comfortable and totally relaxing with all the creature comforts including outdoor undercover entertaining area. The 2 x complimentary cold beers on arrival (very impressive) and big BBQ made me feel right at home and the fact that we hardly used the car (or have to find a park) just added to a really good break for both our families.
