We rent out this great two bedroom apartment with a wonderful ocean view in our small real estate project, Dream View Estate. The apartment is fully equipped, has a large kitchen and each bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in closet. A large terrace opens up on the garden and a path leading to our large infinity view pool.
We are out in the countryside, meaning peace and quiet in a quiet, green, forested environment; but we're only a 10 minutes drive from town, it's 15 to 20 minutes to the nearest beach, super market, restaurants and nightlife. Puerto Plata is a mid-sized town, no big traffic jams, friendly people, many amenities such as restaurants, cafes, hospitals, etc.
We cater especially to longer term renters, such as digital nomads working through Internet or retirees. Check out our long term rates - contact us!
Basic internet is included, at minor additional cost we can offer download speeds of up to 100 MB and upload speeds of 20 MB.
Note: in case you're looking to retire in or work from a nice warm country: the Dominican Republic and especially Puerto Plata is the place to be! Puerto Plata is a mid-sized, quiet town with all amenities situated on the North Coast of this beautiful island, with nice, fun-loving people, great beaches, and lots of other natural beauty. We're two: Cristina and Frans Doorman, married for close to 30 years, but young at heart and in looks. We're from the Dominican Republic and The Netherlands. We started Dream View Estate in 2011, and have been living there most of the year since 2012. We were looking for a home and bought a small estate because we loved the place: magnificent view, rural, green, forested environment, fresh ocean breezes, just 15 minutes from Puerto Plata. We have two rooms for sale, but decided to also rent and offer bed and breakfast, among others .
We like to meet new people, so if you want to spend some time together when you come to our place we'd be happy to. But if you want to keep to yourselves that's great too. Get in touch and come stay with us!

Because of its magnificent view, it's location in the hills (or for the Dutch, mountains!) surrounding Puerto Plata; for the rural, green, forested environment; the peace and quiet (not always easy to find in the Dominican Republic!), the fresh ocean breezes, and the fact it's just a 15 minutes drive from Puerto Plata - 20 minutes to the nearest beach and supermarket.
