Holland House - Romantic boutique accommodation at the Bay of Fires

Holland House is situated on East Coast Tasmania in an area of the Bay of Fires known as ‘The Gardens’, this award winning and architecturally designed house is approximately 10 minutes drive from Binalong Bay Tasmania. Holland House sits elevated above the land on slender steel columns thoughtfully built, blending into the rugged terrain and making the most of the magnificent views of the Bay of Fires.

Holland House consists of two bedrooms upstairs each with a queen-sized hotel quality bed. A third small bedroom has a single bed of the same quality as the queen beds. The view from the master bedroom ocean side is breathtaking.

Located next to the master bedroom, the bathroom has double sinks and shower with Vola fittings. Guests are provided with towels, beach towels and beautiful ‘Rituals’ shampoo, body wash and hand wash.

The dining area downstairs has a well-equipped kitchen and pantry stocked with dry goods for your convenience. An expansive living area opens out to the deck. There is an outside dining area with Baby Weber BBQ set up on the roadside deck. A second toilet is available on the ground floor.

There is a large wood heater in the living area and a plentiful supply of kindling and wood to heat the whole house. The floors and decks are all made from recycled eucalyptus wandoo wood sourced from a Western Australian shearing shed.

Holland House is a luxurious and comfortable beach house – the ideal place to get away from it all to unwind, reflect and just relax.

Thank you for sharing the gorgeous Holland House with us. The incredible views took our breath away. Everything about the house is perfect. Stunning design and all comforts provided. We had a blissful few days exploring the sublime beach which is just a few minutes walk away and then warming up by the log burner.

This is a perfect beach house with an amazing view! (The most turquoise water I have ever seen) We had only two nights- But could have stayed forever. It's close enough to St Helens to grab supplies, and Binnalong Bay cafe is just around the corner. Plenty of hidden beaches to explore and St Columbus Falls is a beautiful drive through the countryside (about 20 mins from St Helens) We'll be back for BBQ's, sunshine and beach time with friends, we loved it!

This house was exactly what we needed for some time away. Right on the beach with spectacular views….I think we got the best house at The Gardens. Played games with the kids, walked along the beach everyday and relaxed and enjoyed this wonderful space.

Outstanding property with magical views.

Holland House is not just a beautiful place to stay it is an experience. Words can not describe this property it was truly amazing. From the art to the sound system nothing was forgotten. Highest quality throughout the whole house from the beautiful toiletries to the linen it felt like you had been invited into someones home, it was a magical couple of days. Thanks Matt so much for all your help and hospitality. Most of all thank you for allowing others to stay in your beautiful property. We can't wait to return.

The Holland house is the best place my wife and I have stayed at hands down. There’s nothing I can even say to improve or better it. The house itself has everything you could possibly need. It’s clean, has modern and quality fittings throughout, all whilst maintaining a homely holiday house feel. The view is superb, second to none! The beautiful light blue water is enjoyed not just from the kitchen and living room, but outdoor deck and master bedroom! You can hear the waves and ocean at all times, nothing nicer to fall asleep or wake up to. We will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. Matt the host was very accommodating, kind and a pleasure to deal with, thanks Matt!

Aqua marine bliss

We rented this elegant, contemporary on the beach house to celebrate a 50th birthday. The house is beautifully situated to showcase the Bay of Fires, with an expansive deck giving uninterrupted 180 degree views of the Beach: white sand, the red rust beach boulders, and turquoise waves. Breathtaking. The main bedroom also faces the beach, and waking up to this view, with the small surf waves lapping was fantastic. The hosts have done a great job in designing and appointing the house, which had everything we needed and more. A great place to celebrate and relax. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived at Holland House I knew we were going to be happy. The home is presented so well with everything one would need. (Including a nice bottle of white chilled in the fridge .. thank you)! The views are to die for and the gorgeous sandy beach is beautiful. Perfect home to enjoy the Bay of Fires

Our small family stayed at the Holland House for 3 nights in mid-March. The location is absolutely breathtaking, located on one of the best beaches we have experienced. The sunrises are amazing and the beach is perfect for long exploring walks. For most of our stay we had the entire beach to ourselves. With regards to the house, it is designed to help you appreciate and soak up the natural beauty surrounding you. One morning we were treated to watching dolphins play in the surf from the deck. It is impeccably clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Our host Gillis was fantastic at promptly answering all of our questions prior to arrival and also provided a great number of recommendations for things to do in the area. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Wonderful property in amazing place.

We had a great week at Holland House. Hosts were fantastic to deal with and very accommodating of our needs. This property has everything you could possibly need for a beach stay where they think of everything even heaps of beach towels. We stayed in winter and enjoyed beautiful sunny winter days and still cold nights. The house has a wood heater which keeps the living area nice and warm and lots of easy to burn wood is supplied. The kitchen is well appointed with all the necessary appliances including a coffee machine (coffee supplied) making for great lazy mornings taking in the view. It's a 20 minute drive in to St Helens which has all the services and two large supermarkets. The usual coffee shops and eateries are available as you'd expect in a tourist town. Fuel is surprisingly as cheap as anywhere in Tas. The whole property has a feeling of luxury about it and our family would certainly recommend it. Steve M
