An excellent short stay for rest and relaxation

It was fantastic, magnificent views and everything was exactly as depicted on the site. Every requirement had been considered and was included, the owners should be very proud of this property. It ticked every box for relaxation, comfort, security and clear instructions on how to use all of the appliances and how to leave the property on departure. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to avail ourselves of this property again in the future.

House was good

House was lovely. Bed average after a few nights. Lovely position, and well kept. However we did have a tiny!! incident in house which the owner refuses to be reasonable about and cannot produce a simple receipt and has charged us a small fortune. So much for honesty. Left the house immaculate too.

Ocean view getaway

We had an awesome experience. We stayed for a week but wanted to stay longer. Fully equipped residence with extras not normally available. Beautiful scenery and a very well designed and tastefully appointed open upper level living area. This property ticked all of the boxes and was better than the pics. Many thanks - we will be back.

Overlooking the Seaside

This is the second time we have stayed here, the first we went with family this time we wanted to have the space all to ourselves. It’s a lovely home, spotless, quite, comfortable and modern. It has everything you need and the location beside the sea with the awesome views is sublime. Effie is a very professional friendly host. We highly recommend and will return, there is no doubt about that. Thank you Effie!

Just perfect

Gorgeous house, very clean and tidy. We loved sitting infront of the big fire on the cold winter nights. Ideal for a family break away. Will definitly be back.

Fantastically relaxing short break at Portarlington Beachfront

Just back from our stay at Portarlington, very easy checkin and easy communication with our host. Property is stunning with great views across the bay to Melbourne. Comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, wood fire and wifi, just add wine and you have everything a family needs for a relaxing weekend

Peaceful and clean

We had a lovely family weekend at Portarlington Beachfront because the beautifully appointed house is comfortable, clean and quiet with a well maintained garden visited by birds. Effie was friendly in communication and obviously takes pride in providing a quality stay.

Beautiful House, Great location

We had such a great time with family, the house was spacious and the view of the ocean was magnificent. The walking/cycling/running track was right out the front and it went for ever, easy walk into town, perfect location, we will be coming back and would definitely recommend.

If they want to quiet &peacefull place nice area...

Only I couldn't sleep because of if someone still upstairs. I think BBQ need clean. Wood needs to keep a dry place and cut them into smaller pieces or leave some utility people when they need it to use. Some extra towels are nice. Thank you

Everything we needed

I’ve come back to this property quite a few times - it’s consistently well presented, clean and tidy, and has everything we need - including views of the water from the couch and wifi to keep the teenagers quiet. The owner is so responsive and welcoming, I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Slick & Span

This house is exactly like the pictures, clean bright and spacious. We loved it, the beds are comfy, the extra TV room a godsend as we had our 5 year old grandson with us who loved the DVDS. Games, books and even fruit trees, apples and figs which were ripe yum. The location is whisper quite yet only 5 mins by car into town. Loved the street loved the view. Highly recommend thank you.

Quiet location with a lovely view

The house is lovely with a large balcony with views over water to the city skyline. It has a well equipped kitchen, large living area, and comfortable beds. The host was helpful and easy to contact. We would stay here again.

Relaxing break

With the view of the sea in front of us, we really relaxed. This house is comfortable, quiet and well supplied for a holiday. The only thing that was an issue: the mattress is the master bedroom was a little firm for those of us with sore backs. However, we changed rooms & slept peacefully after that. Thanks Effie!

Christmas holiday break

Great property - comfortable and very clean with an excellent layout for family holiday break. Good location to beach for walks/swim. Very quiet but close enough to walk to Port Arlington centre and pier. So nice to relax on balcony and enjoy city lights across the bay.
