Pan de Azúcar, Dungog

Bienvenido a Sugarloaf Dairy, alrededor de 1906: una mezcla ecléctica de estilo vintage con comodidades contemporáneas.

Sugarloaf Dairy es la escapada perfecta, una granja de tablas de madera por excelencia llena de carácter llena de historia y situada en un tranquilo valle a solo 5 km del histórico Dungog. Durante su estancia en la lechería, tiene acceso a los jardines, huertos y potreros de los alrededores. Disfrute de las impresionantes vistas desde la terraza envolvente o dé un paseo por los hermosos jardines hasta el arroyo de agua dulce. Perfecto para el entretenimiento con la estufa Ilve y la gran mesa de la granja, o barbacoa en la pérgola con sombra.

El interior es simple pero elegante, paredes encaladas, muebles antiguos, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, ropa de cama y toallas de algodón orgánico. Hay 3 dormitorios, 2 con camas queen, el tercero con dos camas individuales que se pueden unir para hacer una reina.

Ahora tenemos 2 baños.

Hay un calentador de combustión de leña más un fuego de gas para las noches más frías, o aire acondicionado de ciclo inverso para el verano.

Un corral y potreros están disponibles para los huéspedes que deseen traer sus propios caballos, los perros bien educados también son bienvenidos, pero contáctenos para conocer las condiciones. Los perros pagan $ 20 por perro, por visita.

La lechería centenaria fue desmantelada hace muchos años, sin embargo, todavía ocupa una posición de orgullo junto a la granja restaurada.

Ecológico y orgánico

Nuestro objetivo es ser lo más ecológico posible, sin comprometer la comodidad. Tratamos de evitar el uso de productos químicos o pesticidas en la propiedad. En la casa se utilizan productos de limpieza amigables con el medio ambiente y se proporcionan champús orgánicos, acondicionadores, jabones y productos para el cuidado de la piel.

La cocina está bien surtida con ingredientes básicos y hay algunas excelentes instalaciones de compras en Dungog, o podemos dirigir a los huéspedes a un sitio web donde pueden pedir productos orgánicos locales y recibirlos por un pequeño cargo.

The location of the property was close to the main town centre of Dungog , and easy access to other local natural attractions.Great location to the Common as well for Mountain Biking. The home itself was beautifully presented. Very homely, with space for everyone. A great home to spend quality family time together and escape the business of life !Ash was a great host . She was very easy to communicate with and friendly. She even happily accommodated our 18month old Dog!We loved talking with the horses each day and hearing the sounds of nature each morning. We had a fabulous time at Sugarloaf Dairy and look forward to returning in the future .

Delightful property and host

We had a lovely weekend at Sugarloaf Dairy. Ashley was responsive, warm, friendly and super obliging from day one, and her home was just as delightful. The charm offensive starts at the beginning of the driveway and doesn't stop, with lush gardens, a deep verandah and cosy, eclectic interior – all surrounded by rolling, green hills. To top it off, the kitchen is generously stocked (including fresh herbs, eggs, milk and butter), as was the bathroom, and the beds plump and soft. Can't wait to return.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Sugarloaf Dairy House. The location was great, nice and quiet. The house was lovely with everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved the animals especially the horses and the friendly peacocks 😊 thanks for letting us stay.

Long weekend @ Sugarloaf

Very very happy about the time we spent in Sugarloaf. The house and surroundings are great to spend a quite couple of days. We did a short trip to a side of Barrington tops as well which was less than an hour away from this place. And I should say, Ash was a superhost! Thanks for listing this place!

The best wedding get away!

We recently stayed at Sugarloaf for our wedding and it was just the perfect place to get ready and enjoy in the lead up to our special day! Everything about it, from the stunning and whimsical garden to the quirky and fun decor is perfect for a beautiful country get away! The bridal party got ready here and it was just such a calm and beautiful environment to get ready! Ash was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay and offered lots of local knowledge. She was also amazing during our stay, leaving us eggs and dishwashing tablets in the letterbox for us, and even a beautifully thoughtful gift for the bride. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back again! Maybe for our anniversary :)

Sugarloaf Dairy Delight

We had an incredible stay at Sugarloaf Dairy. The house is beautifully appointed and set up with so many thoughtful touches. Nice and convenient to Dungog but so very peaceful, a truly relaxing and memorable experience!

Great stay

Property is lovely and just as the pictures show. House is spacious with lots of charm. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Ash the host is very accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Comfy farmhouse

This is a really lovely place to stay at Dungog. Close to town but definitely country. Luxury style, super comfy with quirky and interesting interiors. Ash is a great host and she has done an outstanding job of making the place appealing. Loved the wide verandahs and resident birdlife including the Guinea fowl that supplied our eggs. Very hard to leave.

Charming farm getaway

A little piece of heaven, just perfect. Kids and dog loved exploring the garden and checking out the animals. Farmhouse full of character, a lovely area to explore with a local brewery in town.

Perfect Easter farm getaway

Sugarloaf Dairy was just what our family needed for an Easter break from the city. Ashley’s house is well appointed & just a short drive from Dungog so you have the peace & quite of the country with the convenience of shops & restaurants. We went to local events the Gresford billy cart derby & Dungog rodeo which were fun. Also managed a bush walk at Barrington Tops NP. Sitting on the verandah & being able to give our dog a holiday too were special treats. We will be back.

Wonderful relaxing stay

Great holiday farm stay, very picturesque and quiet.Ash was very helpful and friendly. Close to Dungog for all of your supplies and shopping therapy. Had a very relaxing time and I would thoroughly recommend it for a vacation to unwind from everyday life

Fantastic regional / farm stay getaway not far from Sydney

A beautiful, spacious and well presented homestead on a small farm with plenty of great experiences at the farm and nearby. It’s was a truly enjoyable property to stay at and the service of the owner, Ash was spot on. Can highly recommend a stay here!

A GORGEOUS PROPERTY

We cannot speak highly enough about this lovely home. It is a large, beautifully maintained farm house. It had everything we could ask for. The huge garden is a delight. Our hostess was 100% helpful and accomodating. The house is spacious, comfortable and bright. We could say much more, but I will finish saying we simply cant wait for our next visit.

Girls Weekend

It's tricky to write a review since the entire weekend and stay was sublime. The reason I gave one star less for accuracy of online description is that it's even more spacious than it looks. It is simply a beautiful property. Ash was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The property is Ash's home too, and therefore the kitchen is a dream in terms of applicances and everything you might want. There were some really lovely details, like we were 5 girls ( maybe more women since we are late 40's +!) and we were left 10 towels. There was face cleanser and moisturiser in the bathroom. We brought our own, but I have forgotten on occassion. The area of Dungog is a joy to explore. We will certainly go back. Please don't read this review as a green light to have a wrecking party, Ash is lovely and relaxed but still, it's a home that still needs to be respected.

Home away from home

Beautifully styled and appointed home, great for a relaxing weekend away . Lovely wide verandah as as well as a little pavilion in the garden. You won't want to leave however you are only 5 minutes from pubs and cafes in Dungog that also has an array of interesting shops.

A break from the City

Enjoyed our stay. A late withdrawal from one of our friends meant that the potential of the farm residence was not exploited (best set up for a group of ~4). Still it was a refreshing break, while still 5 minutes from Dungog.

Great family weekend!

Ash has a beautiful property and is a most wonderful host. The kids had a blast visiting the animals and the home is very clean & comfortable. Looking forward to returning one day, thanks Ash!
