Everything was as described as listed... need a bit more space for luggage. It was clean, although could use an in depth cleaning. Was perfect for 2, a little tight for more than 2 adults Location was perfect. Such a perfect spot. Crystal Kayaking only 10 minutes away. Perfect for all of the Red River Gorge activities. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. Communication with management was quick and efficient.

The cabin was beautiful outside, inside there was food inside the couch and chair and dirty the smoke detector sounded all night Friday for no reason called management in the morning came out and replaced batteries and again at 6:30pm it started going off again made for a bad weekend

The cabin is well-appointed and very charming. It had the basic necessities if you planned on cooking during your stay. Check-in and check-out went very well. Our primary concern was the overwhelming smell of ammonia; it was so strong it was eye-watering. We tried opening windows and doors to dissipate the smell, and we ran water down all the drains as well to no avail. I contacted the property manager, and they responded promptly, stating that they would send someone over to inspect it. We were out the majority of the day, and when we returned, unfortunately, it smelled the same. Other than the smell and dusty floors, which are an easy fix, it was a cozy space tucked away in a beautiful setting with a lovely back porch.

Property was clean and located close to everything. Property was beautiful with the creek in the back yard. We will definitely be coming back. There was an odor of a cat that may have sprayed outside or something. Would definitely look into that though.

Cute tiny cabin, great location or the area.

Cute place to hang out between outdoor adventures. Spent 2 nights with a friend for a girls trip- hiking, kayaking and hanging out.

Horrible smell and poor communication

When we arrived at the cabin we noticed a horrible musty smell throughout. There was a dehumidifier plugged haphazardly in the kitchen area, but it did nothing to control the smell. It was loud and very hard to sleep and enjoy our time in the cabin as it ran constantly. The smell caused headaches and dry throat our entire time, which was 3 nights. When I reached out to property manager company the very first night I was told maintenance would come out. No one ever came out. I tried to get a resolution every day and even requested to be contacted by management and was never contacted. I expressed my disappointment and unsatisfactory, but was simply placated the entire time. Beyond just that cabin smell, there was a foul smelling dirty blanket that smelled like someone vomited in it and folded it back up along with a crusty pillow. Those items were placed outside but not part of the original smell. There was trash in the recliner and the floors hadn’t been swept very well and definitely not mopped. We were very disappointed as this cabin got great reviews and looked nice online. The fact that we were pretty much ignored by property management company is what made this stay our worst. We definitely paid way more than this was worth!!!!

Cozy cabin near Miguel's

Location is close to natural bridge and Miguel's Pizza. Quiet little spot with a couple other cabins in the vicinity.

Cozy, peaceful and convenient!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The cabin was super cute and cozy. We loved how easy it was to get to and how convenient it was to Gorge underground and all the restaurants. We loved the peacefulness of the creek. It was pretty wet and chilly during our stay, otherwise we would have loved sitting on the back porch or by the firepit listening to the creek and just enjoying nature. We did take advantage of the trails on the property and were impressed with how well maintained they were. If we come back to RRG we will definitely stay at one of these cabins. The property was super nice, well maintained and we felt very safe. Highly recommend Miguels and Gorge Underground also!

Lovely small cottage near Natural Bridge State Park

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The interior is lovely and there is a nice back porch. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The place is quite small, and I had to climb over my husband to get in and out of bed. The grounds are nice, but very near Hwy 11, so it was loud until late at night. Also, there were no amenities such as coffee sweetener, creamer, or even salt and pepper. All fine, but be prepared to bring everything in.

Great cabin

We really enjoyed our two day stay at Soul Sister Cabin. It was very relaxing for my wife and I and we also enjoyed hiking in the gorge. The weather was great although a bit warm for fall. There were only a couple drawbacks. One was the well water. Although we were assured it was safe it had a brown color. So we bought a couple of jugs of water for coffee and drinking. Also the cabin is very close to the road and there was some traffic noise. We were told to put the trash in the clearly marked trash receptacles outside the cabin but there were none. No worries as we just brought it home with us and put it in our own trash can. We would gladly stay again.

Couples Getaway

We stayed here to hike Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest. It was perfectly located. Cabin was clean and cute. Exactly as pictured. Check in was easy. Everything was exactly as we’d hoped.

Perfect modern cabin—safe convenient location

I loved this property so much! Everything was higher end, more comfortable and modern than many other places in the area. I especially loved the feeling of safety. It’s in a gated community and also near a great restaurant. Everything around the cabin is modern—even has trails to hike right off property.
