Property is a 5 minute walk to Delft train station and Delft center, Delft train station is on the all night 24hr line, so it is easy to reach all the main cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Schiphol Airport, Utrecht and Den Haag) and return at any time.
It is an old house on a quite street and with the attic renovated.
It has two bedrooms with two double beds. The toilet and kitchen are also on the ground floor.
The stairs is very steep and not suitable for young children or elderly.

Perfect location in Delft

Property as described. Perfect location near the train station and central Delft. Had everything we needed for a longer stay. Matt was a great host who was very accommodating and flexible.

Very nice, clean and spacious place

Had a lovely stay, the apartment has everything you need, was very clean and bright. The commination with the owners was also really nice and quick, no matter what time or day. Just keep in mind that the stairs are not for everyone but we made it a fun experience for us ☺️ all in all really loved our stay and would highly recommend the stay!

These are the things I look for in a vrbo rental:Location: BEST feature of this apt--5 min walk to train station, and 10-15 min walk to historic center. If you're driving, street parking is available, but you have to pay using the city payment poles just off Westerstraat.Noise: neighborhood area, pretty quiet by 10 pm. However, the city clock clangs ALL night and woke us repeatedly--if that doesnt work for you, dont stay in Delft or use sleep headphones and a white noise app.Layout: reminds me of my college apt--functional, but quirky and in need of some maintenance (we gave the owner a list, so hopefully those will be resolved.) The bathroom is at the back of the apt thru the kitchen. And the 2 flights of stairs going to the bedrooms are more like ladders, so if you need the WC a lot at night, take that into consideration.Beds/Amenities: comfortable beds, kitchen well-stocked, clothes washer is nice, but bring your own detergent.Delft is beautiful--enjoy!

Great in everyway but one. Critter bites

The place was great and clean. The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep. Location was great, amenities were great. The one annoyance was the night time critter bites. Looked high and low for anything but the itchy bites were undenyable. Very itchy

A week's stay - 2 adults, 1 older child

This is a nice place to stay overall. The location was great for our needs as we traveled to Rotterdam and the Hague for activities and sightseeing. Close to stores, pharmacies, train station, etc. The neighborhood is safe and reasonably quiet, although one night there was an outdoor party next door with loud music until 23.00. The stairs are very steep, and the bathroom is downstairs, while the two bedrooms are upstairs. So if someone had to use the bathroom at night, they had to climb potentially two flights of steep stairs, one of them without a railing. We had a very hot spell for a few days with temperatures up to 35 Celsius during the day. The third floor bedroom was horribly hot and stuffy at night. There were fans in both bedrooms, which helped somewhat. The kitchen was generally well-stocked with cookware and some spices, but we were surprised to see that there were no paper towels and no dish soap. The host was responsive and helpful, and came with an extra blanket when we asked for one.

Missed opportunity

While the living spaces were accurate, and the bed and bath were clean, the rest of the unit was very run down. The kitchen was a real turn off. The fridge door front was ripped off and the freezer solid with ice build up. The faucet was barely attached. The pots and pans were sticky with old grease and complete hodgepodge of dishes and utensils. I wiped all the kitchen shelves because of stickiness. Broken blinds and cracked walls. This little place could be fantastic with a touch of love, but sadly it seems no one cares

Das alte Haus von ca. 1880 liegt sehr zentral. Es ist besonders. Sehr sauber. Das Bad ist im alten Schuppen als Verlängerung der Küche eingegliedert und fällt etwas aus der Reihe. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet (auch zum Backen…) Eine neue Waschmaschine ist da, jedoch keine Wäscheleine oder Ähnliches. Bügeleisen und Brett, Haartrockner sind da. Die Zwei großen Betten sind gut. Insgesamt ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, an manchen Ecken muss repariert werden. Es könnte auch etwas gemütlicher durch Pflanzen, Bilder, kleinen Garten im Hof anstelle von Pflastersteinen eingerichtet werden. Insgesamt waren wir aber zufrieden mit dem Haus von Matt.

Perfekt gelegen, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Nur mit kleinem Kind etwas umständlich durch die Treppe und die Hellhörigkeit. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Wochenurlaub mit Freunden

Wir haben zu dritt gebucht. Die Unterkunft hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage. Von hier sind wir öfter nach Den Haag und Rotterdam. Die Verbindung sind sagenhaft. Rund um die Uhr kommt ihr hier problemlos in die größeren Städte. Alles nötige findet man in der näheren Umgebung und auch zu Fuß war alles gut erreichbar. Unser Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Aufjedenfall zu empfehlen gerne wieder.
