Stones Throw Cottage Retreat In Old Growth Forest

We encourage all guests to read the Cottage description. We want our guests to be happy and comfortable during their stay. Therefore we want you to be certain our cozy Cottage meets your needs. Stone's Throw Cottage retreat is a newly renovated detached cottage nestled in old growth forest on a beautiful acreage in Qualicum Beach BC. The 750 sq ft Cottage is comfortable, cozy and bright. There is an apartment size fridge with freezer, two burner stove top, microwave, Keurig, Coffee maker, toaster and a six burner outdoor grill with side burner. Please note there is no oven. Coffee, a variety of teas, sugar, salt & pepper and other common kitchen staples are provided. Linens, dishes, cutlery, shampoo etc. are also provided. The Cottage sleeps six people but please keep in mind it is a 750 sq ft Cottage not a large home. The kitchen table seats four comfortably and there are two stools provided if you need to seat six at the table. The living room area is relaxing and cozy, with that said there is not enough space for more than one couch. If you are renting for six people some will have to pull up a chair as we simply don't have the space for more furniture. TV, cable and free Wifi are provided. Outside you will find a fenced area for guests and pets, with a picnic table that seats six a large deck surrounded by hundreds of trees. Parking is provided for our guests. There is plenty of privacy from the owners residents. The Cottage is close driving distance to the beach, shopping, Coombs, Qualicum Falls, markets, restaurants, walking trails and fresh seafood. We are approximately 36 minutes from the Nanaimo ferry, 8 minutes to the town of Qualicum Beach and 20 minutes to Parksville. Our acreage is near a clay pigeon shooting range. The events take place approximately once a week from 10 AM - 2 PM. We have had nearly 300 guests stay and this has never posed a problem but if it is a concern please contact us and we can forward the dates for these events.
