This beautiful Tudor style house in Mount Dandenong is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Tudor Cottage, which is over 100 years old, is divided into the Elan and Evora Cottages. The Elan Cottage is a self-contained adorable suite with large corner spa and wood fire coonara. Tudor Cottage is located within a 2-minute walk to Tatra Wedding Receptions. A 5-minute walk will get you to William Ricketts Sanctuary and 10-15 minutes will get you to the Pig & Whistle, Mt Dandenong Pub and the Mt Dandenong cafes, supermarket and shops. The Elan Cottage features a large corner spa, wood fireplace, slate floors, flat screen TV with DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, queen-sized bed with pillowtop mattress all in a beautiful antique property with an old world feel. Whether you are in Mount Dandenong for a romantic getaway or attending a wedding at Tatra, Elan Cottage is the perfect place.

We welcome dogs to stay at the property with you, however, guests must obtain pre-approval and pay a pet surcharge for each pet that they wish to bring with them to the venue. Once the approval is made and the pet surcharge is paid, a Pet Approval Code will be issued and must be provided in your check-in form. No pets are permitted at the venue without a Pet Approval Code. The pet surcharge covers additional set-up costs prior to guest arrival and a standard commercial pet cleaning service. There is no outdoor fenced-in area or yard, so pets must be on a leash at all times when outside and their droppings must be picked up and disposed of in the outdoor garbage bin. We do not cater for cats, rabbits, ferrets or birds. Please contact us prior to making a booking to receive a quote for the pet surcharge and see if your dog will be approved.

You may decide to indulge in a beautiful gourmet hamper to enjoy during your stay. Hampers include cooked and non-cooked breakfast, savoury platter or local sparkling & chocolates. You can even indulge in some French Champaign and chocolates. Your choice of hamper will allow you to make a yummy breakfast in the privacy of your own spectacular retreat or sit back and indulge with the one you love.

Clean and cozy

Arrived at the cottage ready for us. It was neat and clean. Enjoyed the spa and comfy bed. Despite poor TV reception, it was overall good stay.

Very Disappointed with the quality and price

Property is Very dated. Have stayed in better for less money. Definitely not for people with mobility issues. Tiles in hallway are above the bedroom and kitchen flooring resulting in a trip hazard. Shower over spa makes it difficult to get in for a shower. The bed head at the bottom of the bed had two large protrusions either side resulting in several skinned knees. I thought i had chosen a Property 15 kms away as the listing was for two areas. Had to travel to our venue each day with a 20 minute trip. Entry into the poperty is very hazardous.
