Much below expectations for a budget motel

Old motel, old furnishings, ancient 21" cathode fuzzy color tv, newer carpet, clean bed and bathroom. They did not receive the reservations for one of the two rooms I booked and then wanted to charge more than the confirmation amount from hotes.com. Nobody on site in the evening or the morning could change the amount in their computer to match the confirmation amount. Clerk was unprofessionally / sloppily dressed with bare feet. Certainly not worth the amount shown on hotels.com.

The bed and shower and being double charge and stains on carpet in room and out of room it would need new mattresses and new carpets and the outside was nasty as well even with the snow on grounds

The room i reserved was not the room i was given. Thankfully, It was exchanged. Carpet was old and had holes in it. Flat surfaces were dirty and i had to clean them. The beds were very firm, the sheets and blankets were shabby. The shower curtain was much too short, causing water to be on the floor. At checkout, the kid looked like he had been sleeping and we woke him up. He was wearing shorts and was barefooted.

This was absolutely the worst stay in a hotel I have ever had. It smelt SO bad and was humid muggy stale air in our room. My shower was COLD. The breakfast was pop tarts and milk they eventually went and got from the gas station... for $115 absolutely pathetic.

Reserved our room through Expedia, got there wanted to charge my card again for another nights fee for some reason, we said no, he said he'd refund my Expedia online charge and that my personal card was never actually charged, both card have been charged and as of today, three days later, no refund or call. The place isn't very nice, costs 80+ dollars a night, stay away-

Very uncomfortable

They are making changes. However, at the time of our visit the bed felt like sleeping on concrete. Housekeeping tried coming into our room while we were still sleeping at 9:15am. The housekeeping was only there for a short period so our room never was touched the 3 nights we were there. On the positive, the 2 women that we talked to that worked there were very nice and explained they were under new management and making changes. So hopefully, things get better.

The room was clean, but I question the attention to detail of the housekeeping staff as I found the ice bucket on top of the wardrobe cabinet and when I took it down, it was full of water from melted ice.The room itself was rather worn from use and somewhat cramped. You could not walk around the end of the bed with someone seated at the desk. The bathroom was very small and there are no hangers for towels near the vanity wash basin. Overall I consider the room over priced for it's condition and location.
