What sets this apart from many rentals is that it is a beautiful, secluded mountain home built by my father, a Master Craftsman and woodworker. 12-acre property with/ 1.5 acres of lawns, gardens surrounding the house, and stunning mountain views. Year-round Jacuzzi, hardwood floors & custom woodwork throughout. Large Living room & Library with full wall granite fireplace, picture windows viewing Cathedral Ledge & Moat Mt. Range, five HD flat-screen TVs, all Roku equipped, Broadband Wi-Fi, 275 sq. ft. deck & separate screened 3 season porch, Charcoal grill (Memorial Day through Columbus Day). Hiking & Nordic skiing trails on our 16-acre family conservation easement are accessible directly from the property w/o driving. Home includes first-floor bedroom w/ ADA compliant exterior entrance ramp & customized bathroom & shower. Very family friendly; full-size crib, pack-n-play, high chairs, games & puzzles for all ages. Note: There is a security camera on the driveway as we are set back from the road and nicely secluded, but unfortunately, our online calendar tells the world when the house is vulnerable! Excellent accomodations!

Large rambling thoughtfully laid out house that comfortably housed 3 families with 4 children under 4. Excellent location with privacy and views. Communication with host was great. Home came with many games, toys and TV's so you can while away any rainy days with rambunctious children and antsy adults in comfort and ease. Highly recommend!

Family getaway to Storyland

I recently stayed at this property with my family, a mix of adults and children ages 1-7. We had the best time!! The house was perfect- so much space for everyone to sleep, play etc and everything was very clean. The yard is beautiful and the kids loved running around, exploring and making s’mores! We would definitely visit again.

Great in any season!

This is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed at this property. Normally we visit North Conway at the end of June but we decided to take the kids for their first ski trip in February. This house is just as wonderful in the winter as it is in the summer (maybe more)! The kids had a great time snowshoeing around the property and ran into a few small groups of deer. The adults appreciated soaking in the hot tub after a long day of skiing. We would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone!!!!

INCREDIBLE STAY

This home was in the perfect location for our family's XC vacation. It is spacious and comfortably fit the 12 of us. The view from the backyard is spectacular and has lovely pathways to walk through. We loved our stay and are already talking about planning another visit next year!

Great Mountain View

Very nice house, large and a lot of space to relax in. It was just as it is advertised. The owner is real friendly and a joy to talk to. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the location is close to a lot of great natural places to visit and view. It was out in the country, close to town and real quiet. We enjoyed our stay there.

Family New Years get away

We had an amazing time on the property. It was me, my husband, in laws, and our 2.5 yr old. The house was clean and cozy. The view of the mountain with my cup of coffee in the morning was my favorite. Would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation!

Mothers Day Weekend Get Away!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Osgood home for a weekend of relaxation on Mothers Day weekend. Great location for us to explore downtown North Conway , the Outlet shops and a trek to Diana's baths. We had planned on taking a walk on the property trail bit found a sign that indicated a Mama Bear and her cubs had been sighted along the trail. We decided to leave her to her mothers day weekend.

Best Family Stay

This home is beautiful. There are family photos and interesting articles to read about the family all around the house. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. It is very special place. The kitchen is great and has everything you could possibly need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The owner and manager were wonderful and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Nostalgic

We really enjoyed the property. There was a great deal of nostalgia from the décor, rotary phone, record player, cookbooks from the 30s to the typed, yes from a typewriter, phone list in the kitchen that must have 30 years old. Neill was a great host and we really appreciated him sharing his childhood home with us. The view was wonderful and very peaceful.

Perfect house for a two-family vacation!

This beautiful, well-maintained house was even nicer than the listing. All 6 bedrooms were comfortable and functional, with nice beds, clean linens and curtains on windows to prevent early morning toddler wake-ups. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee, pantry essentials, pots and pans, plates and silverware. There was even a sunroom filled with toys that kept the three children under 5 occupied for hours! We stayed here during a heatwave and the air-conditioning plus numerous fans did a great job keeping the house comfortable even in 90 degree heat. The location could not be better - it was an easy drive to Diana's baths for a fun morning "hike" and swim and also an easy drive to Story Land.

Perfect Friends Getaway

What a great house! We are a group of 8 women who have been friends since age 15, and came from TX, OK, MO, WA, KS, and AZ to celebrate our 70th birthdays. Lots of space inside and out. The owner has labeled everything (so appreciated) and the home is well equipped. The hosts are quick to communicate before and during our stay. This felt more like staying in someone's well loved home than a generic rental. Beds and linens comfy, and great views outside from every room. This is a good homebase to daytrip around New England. What a great week we had!

Great private location

Lots of kids toys, board games, a nice library and good selection of movies. Hot tub looking over the lawn and mountains is a highlight. Extra hot tub towels provided and kitchen/ deck area separate from sleeping area keeps night owls and early risers from bugging each other. The house was clean and had lots of things that are easy to forget on a vacation- salt and pepper, ziplock bags, toiletries, etc. Everything you could think of in the kitchen. Overall the house is a little dated and some of the beds are getting old, but had a great stay with lots of room, lots of kid entertainment and very comfortable home. Very nice welcoming touches and everything is labeled where it belongs. Lots of parking.

Fabulous Haus for an Extended Family Vacation

We have been renting in the North Conway areas for many years on Memorial Day weekend with our extended family (ages 3 years to 86 years), and we have finally found a perfect place. First off, Amanda, the caretaker is amazing. The house was clean, organized and with many added touches like labels of what goes where throughout the house, and beautifully folded linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Neill, the owner was very commutative and flexible. (Let us add an extra day last minute.) The house had 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and two on the first. Clean and comfortable with views of the woods around us. Three bathrooms: an en suite on the first floor, plus large full bathrooms on the first and second floors. The living room was beautiful with a nice library. We spent most of our time in the large dining room or outside by the fire pit, picnic table, cafe table or hot tub. The kitchen is very well equipped, albeit a bit funky because it is split in two - but honestly having two sinks and a dishwasher was fantastic when feeding a large croud. The house has a beautiful view of Moat Mountain. It’s in a wooded area, so even though it was very warm weather, the house felt cool. Additionally - Amanda reached out and asked if we’d like the Air Conditioning turned on - which just took the edge off the above 90’ day! Thank you Neill (and family) for sharing your beautiful home - and Amanda for taking such good care of us!

We were a large group and found the home very clean, comfortable and close to everything. The kitchen was well stocked for all your needs. Beds were comfortable and Neill and Amanda were just a quick phone call away for anything needed. We loved walking around the property and so enjoyed the beautiful views of the foliage and mountains. The location was perfect; the layout of the house let each group have privacy/quiet/recharge time while everyone else could congregate in another space. The house was well appointed and we LOVED having 2 coffee pots. Honestly, from now on I will expect that when we have more than 4 people sharing a home. Even having 2 almost complete kitchens allowed more than 2 people to share the food workload while still being near everyone. The younger people tried to get the in-house stereo system to work but were unable. That would have been nice, however our time was limited and I did not bring it up with the homeowners. Now that they know perhaps it's something that would be able to be fixed. Just a nice bonus for those musically inclined. I would have like to have seen a photo of the third bathroom. It is an en suite with the downstairs bedroom, but considerably smaller than the other two. Had I known I would have assigned rooms differently. Not a big deal and yes, I could have rearranged once we saw the rooms, but I prefer to walk in and know where everyone goes from the onset. It was a lovely stay. We have already recommended the house to two friends soon to be visiting from FL. Thank you so much, Neill!

From the first contact with host to checking out, this was a first-rate experience. Neill is a great communicator and easy to work with. The home is warm and inviting. It was wonderful being in the woods, yet close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was immaculate, well stocked kitchen, and nice grounds. You can tell as soon as you walk in that the owners love the home and take great pride in it. The hot tub is well maintained and got a lot of use! We would stay here again.

Only 2 miles from golfing at the North Conway Country Club. Best of both worlds - minutes from town via back road access avoiding traffic, but quite, very private setting with woodland views on all four sides of house.
