Just beautiful

What a beautiful home, very comfortable with everything we needed available. The outdoor was perfect for us & our dog. We were blown away by how beautiful the garden was. We highly recommend Ray & Wendy’s home. Great communication and were available if needed.

Very peaceful

We loved our stay at Wendy and Ray’s. A very well appointed and comfortable place to stay. We absolutely loved the garden and outdoor bath and the bed was so comfortable with beautiful Sheradin linen. A beautiful, peaceful retreat. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all!

The Cottage is a very private, beautiful garden with outside bath & well appointed inside.

The Cottage is very private with a beautiful garden & outside bath, well appointed inside, a very short walk to the back beach & not too far by car to most places & things of interest. Overall a great place to have a relaxing break!

Ambiance and services

This property has lovely ambiance, is well furnished with a beautiful garden setting. Just a couple of small things detracting. No functional microwave and no dishwasher (my fault, I failed to check all services and assumed all Stayz properties would have a dishwasher). Also a pity that in the garden many spot lights were not working and there are some seriously rotted decking boards possibly representing a safety hazard.

Home away from home

We loved this property!! It was a beautiful escape from the city, perfect for a couple with a dog! Had everything we needed and loved the little extras, assorted teas and excellent heating which we needed as we stayed in the middle of winter! We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect Getaway

For those who want to get away and relax, this is a beautful tranquil property with luxurious Sheridan sheets, big fluffy towels, gas fireplace, fabulous kitchen, and an bali inspired outside bath. Quiet and peaceful, you are ideally located to wineries and the beach. Hosts are fabulous and highly responsive. This little hidden gem has become my favourite spot for a getaway all year round.

Perfect escape from the city

This is a gorgeous property is comfortable with everything you need to escape the city. The gardens and outdoor bath is a wonderful opportunity to sit with nature and just soak it all up while listening to the waves. Ray and Wendy are wonderful hosts and have created a beautifully oasis. We've already booked another stay and cannot wait.

Second stay

This was our second stay and just as beautiful as we remembered from 2018. Our 2 small dogs were safe and secure and loved their walks around the neighbourhood. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed near the beach but it’s just a short drive to the bay beaches. Wendy and Ray are excellent hosts.

Parents retreat

A beautiful little hide away and cosy cottage where you can relax and recharge hearing the waves of St Andrews beach nearby whilst chilling in the zen garden. Decorated beautifully and very thoughtfully planned out…Ray and Wendy have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great location too. We cannot wait to go back.

Garden stay

This place was a mixed review. We started with a negative experience. A double booking and no internet. We agree with other reviews that the place is private and the garden is awesome. However, staying for 3 weeks we found the extremes in internal temperature were uncomfortable as it does not have air conditioning. One day we came back to 37degrees internally and only 28 outside.

Dream Getaway

The most beautiful and homely little place that feels huge due to the excellent use of space, furnishings, decor, windows, mirrors and lighting. Excellent Hosting and straightforward check-in process made for max relaxation time. Thankyou Wendy & Ray! The beach and dune walks in national park nearby are phenomenal. Would love to stay again!

Quiet escape

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is delightful inside and out. Loved the bath in the gardens under the stars. It was great to bring our dogs with us but a little disappointed we didn't realise we couldn't walk them on the ocean beach close to the cottage. Highly recommended stay.

Very relaxing tranquil stay just what we needed

Cottage was amazing, very clean, great amenities in a very quiet yet fairly central location. We enjoyed being able to bring along our fur babies along to wind down with us for a week. Weather was magnificent for first few days, however during the day the house became very hot (as no air con) but at night it was very comfortable with the local sea breeze and ceiling fans. Gardens were immaculate and very unique with a real Zen feel. Interior decorating was done so well with beautiful touches. We also had a friendly possum visit us twice at night. Overall such a beautiful stay and we would return in a heartbeat. Would be great if owners would consider a small split system to keep the house comfortable during the day's in the hot weather. Otherwise it ticked absolutely all boxes. Thanks Wendy & Ray for having us we truly did enjoy our stay
