Wonderfully Apportioned 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath Home With Long Range Sunset Views.
Welcome home! Beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath cabin with two living rooms and a two level deck overlooking a long range view, facing sunset.
Pooches welcome. If the temperature is agreeable they can enjoy one of the ONLY fenced yards on Beech Mountain (the yard is a natural mountain area, though, and can have tall grass). Humans can enjoy our renovated cabin with multiple living areas and HUGE two level deck with multiple seating/dining areas and gas grill, and a bumper pool table. The house is just off the paved road, giving great access but still a touch of privacy. This is an entirely non-smoking property both inside and out (in the yard or on the deck).
The house has everything you need to enjoy a ski trip or a summer stay -- wireless internet, all linens, dishes and all your kitchen needs. Cable TV and blu-ray in the living areas.
Close to it all:
Beech Mountain Club (pool, clay tennis, golf, clubhouse dining). Member/Guest privileges are available at a small additional cost (all user fees can be found at http://beechmountainclub.org/guest-information/)
2 minutes to the slopes or Beech Mountain Club tennis courts
5 minutes to Fred's (if they don't have it, you don't need it.)
5 minutes to the driving range
5 to the Beech Mountain Club and beautiful golf course
1-5 minutes to Miles and Miles of Beech Mountain trails with ratings from easy to moderate and strenuous. There is always a trail map at the cabin.
Just 2.5 miles to the Beech Mountian Recreation Center. For just a couple dollars a day enjoy all that the center has to offer: indoor/outdoor tennis (ball machine), weight room, volleyball, basketball and take advantage of their many classes such as yoga.
30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. If you have never been this is a must. Day or season passes are available allowing you access to trails and THE most spectacular views in the high country.
45 minutes to Linville Falls. More great trails but this time with views of gorgeous mountain falls. If you go to Linville Falls, you must stop at the Linville River Mercantile for the best desserts you will ever have.
20 and 30 minutes to two fabulous High country wineries.
45 minutes to Watauga lake. You will be surprised at how reasonable it is to rent a boat (speed or pontoon) for the day. If you are here in the summer, this is a must! Boat all day surrounded by majestic mountains and national forest. We are glad to share our favorite marina and food tips.
1.20 hours to the Virginia Creeper Trail. Also a must! Bike 17 miles (all downhill). Take your time and enjoy several passes over the Appalachian Trail and explore an old rail stop, bridges, and stop for ice cream. We would be glad to share a couple of our favorite bike rental companies. It is worth a couple bucks to get shuttled to the top.
The owners are proud to consider themselves an all-season family. We would love to answer any questions you have about Beech Mountian. The Mr. was President of the Beech Mountian ski team and the Mrs. loses herself every weekend (any season) on tens of miles of mountain trail runs. There is not an inch of this awesome mountain that we have not explored.

Why Brian Granger chose Beech Mountain
We have owned on Beech Mountain for 10 years, but longed for a home with a long range view and separate living areas for the adults and kids. This house is IT. Beautifully refurbished and decorated, we are absolutely in love. We live in North Carolina, and the property is close to one of the owner's hometowns in East Tennessee.

A great place to stay
This was a wonderful piece of property to stay at. The only downfall is lots of stairs. and they make you take your trash home with you. Not sure why because everyone else on the street seems to have trash pickup. This was a great 2 level home. If you have kids, downstairs was perfect for them.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the trash, we don’t ask that you take it home but we do ask that you take it to the town center which is on your way out of town. While you did see trash bins at other houses, none of those people actually use them any more. Bears are a real issue, and ours was destroyed by bears a few months ago and trash scattered everywhere. At that time we joined our neighbors in not leaving trash out.
Great location. like staying in your own family mountain home.
The house is spacious and well appointed for adults and children. It would be comfortable for even 10 or more people. The house has ample heating including baseboard heat in all rooms and woodburning fireplaces on both levels. The view is excellent, and the furniture is ample with plentiful kitchen supplies and hand me down snow gear in storage closets in case some of your party forgot some attire.
The hot water could be set a little warmer, and the property manager was late by 2 hours finishing cleaning for check in, but no one was ushering us out at check-out time either.
If it had a hot tub it would have everything we could have cared care to use. The dryer was excellent for freshening the baselayers mid day before going out again to ski. Location is halfway up the hill past the ski resort entrance.
Great option on Beech. Close to slopes and activities.
We have stayed in various rentals on Beech Mountain in the past five years after growing up with a family vacation home on Beech in the 80's and 90's. This rental is a very nice option. It is well appointed and it has great views. It is conveniently located for summer and winter activities. The owners are responsive. Its a great pet-friendly option because of the fenced in yard and gated entry to the deck and backyard. We hope to return to the rental.
We had a great stay!!!
The cabin was very comfortable and had all the necessary items. The owner and maintenance team were very attentive of our needs. It was freezing outside (windchill between -5 to -25) during our stay. So we spent a lot of times indoors relaxing. It was very close to restaurants and Beech ski area. We enjoyed the beautiful views and wildlife. I would recommend this cabin.
A wonderfully perfect Christmas getaway
We spent Christmas at this beautiful cabin. It was cozy and comfortable and we even got a little snow. I would recommend to anyone!
Awesome views and amenities in this spectacular mountain home
Brian was great as was his property manager Chris. Our family of 5 enjoyed everything about this home - multiple games and comfortable living areas were a great way for us to unwind before Christmas. Less than 5 minutes from the slopes and plenty of hiking trails around the house were great. Will definitely put it on the list to return to. Thanks!
