A massive 3,956 square foot house with arguably the best views of the ocean on the entire Pacific coast. This house spans three and a half floors and has two separate house-width decks, a master bedroom with it's own private sitting area, a large kitchen and a luxurious jetted tub.

This house fronts on miles of walking beach and is just a few minutes from Old Town Bandon and the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

Beautiful Wizard's Hat Beach House

The Wizard’s Hat Beach House is a beautiful home with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The fully stocked kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. Every room was really clean and thoughtfully decorated. The views of the Bandon beach and ocean were absolutely gorgeous—sunsets were unforgettable. We loved how peaceful and private the location felt. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and scenery in one perfect spot.

Beautiful property in an exquisite location!

This property is everything advertised in its listing and more! Gorgeous with amazing views of Wizard’s Hat and the beautiful Oregon coast. Comfortable and roomy living and dining room areas. A fully - and I do mean FULLY - stocked kitchen that has whatever you need. Comfy beds with room for your whole family. Located near walking trails, Face Rock, and Oldtown Bandon. My family was asking when we can go back before we’d even left. You will not regret booking a stay here!

Getaway at the beach

We enjoyed the roomy house with lots of space for everyone yet a perfect area to gather for meals, a movie or just to enjoy looking out at the ocean and beach below. The private beach access is a bit challenging but definitely worth it just below the house. Our goldens love the beach and there is a hose to clean off the sand on the landing. One of the many highlights is the breathtaking evening sunset. If there is moonlight and you can stay up or get up at midnight, it’s also a special moment to see the ocean and waves in magical light. We were happily surprised to find the kitchen with all the accessories, including sharp knives and plenty of pots and pans to create a full dinner. Our vacation was made even more wonderful by staying at the Wizard Hat House.

Amazing views!

This place is amazing! The views are incredible! The beach access is a little rough, at the end there is a rope to get up and down the last super steep spot. Definitely not for elderly or physically impaired. Property management is great. My group was a little too wild the first night, our bad, some of the group stayed up a bit late playing loud music. We got a complaint and the property management contacted us and was so nice and respectful, I felt terrible. They were professional and cool about it and I made sure my group knew the neighbors could still hear us even though it seemed like the ocean would drown everything out since you are literally right above the beach in this house!! Anyway- the place is gorgeous, well appointed and stocked, and the views are second to none. Highly recommend!!

Friends golf retreat

The house was great, with a perfect view of the ocean. There are a lot of stairs so if that is a problem, you’ll need to find another place. Everything was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen with a great pantry.

Beautiful house with amazing view

This house was amazing! There were plenty of comfortable beds and lots of seating in the living room and dining areas. The location of the bedrooms on three separate floors allowed the children in our group to have their own play areas. The view from the house was amazing. Some people may want to know that there are lots of stairs (because the house sits on a hillside (cliff!) and has three stories). Finally, we note it was easy to communicate with the host before and during our stay. Overall, we give this house our highest recommendation.

Golf Vacation

We were 4 guys playing golf at Bandon Dunes. Stayed 6 nights. House was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. Fifteen minutes to the resort. World class views of the Pacific Ocean. Much preferred staying in town as opposed to the resort. Better accommodations for less money. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay!

What a great house. It’s a bit dated but the nectar beds are amazing and so comfortable! We had a great time. Beach access is not exactly elderly-friendly though…bit of a steep hill at the bottom so my grandma didn’t come down with us. However there is a public access stairway not too far away if needed. Overall great stay! We will be back hopefully!

Phenomenal Ocean Views in Bandon

The proximity of the house was perfect for our group. The house bedrooms are split up on different levels, but that worked well with our family. Everyone had their own little private area. The kitchen was stocked really well with pans, dishes, and spices. Some additions for improvement; floor lamps for the living room (it is very dark and hard to see if doing games or puzzles), practical dressers for bedroom, and ping pong table in game room.

Great family time

House and views were awesome. The house was close to downtown and activities we wanted to see and do. We did need to call maintenance since smoke alarms kept going off but someone was there within minutes to resolve the problem. We loved sitting outside on the deck watching sunset. Our family will be back for sure......Thanks for a great time!!!!

Great Location

This property is conveniently located to two beach access points and just minutes from town. The two decks offer unobstructed awesome views of the beach and ocean. The nearby Wizard Hat rock is in the midst of tide pools full of sealife. Much appreciated was the fact that property management was extremely responsive when we temporarily lost the house keys. One tip: there are a lot of stairs so beware if you have knee or hip problems. Overall, this is a 5 star property that we enjoyed very much.

Great house

Group of guys stayed here for a golf trip. The views from this house are otherworldly. The house was clean and spacious, and the manager very responsive. Only knock is how disparate the rooms are. The master suite and downstairs are palatial. On other end, bunk bed in the game room is a steep flight of stairs from a bathroom. This is likely excellent for a family rental, but less so for a group of adults. (Note: owners clearly communicated this before arrival- just noting to be prepared to haggle for rooms with your friends when you arrive!) We had a great time in the house, and would easily rent again the next time we return.

A new favorite home away from home

We had an amazing visit and loved that the house was dog friendly. We go to Bandon yearly and this place jumped to the top of our list for next year. It was big enough that our Coos Bay family was able to come over for dinner one evening and there was plenty of room for everyone to play games and socialize. The only recommendation I had is to provide additional back ups for paper towels and toilet paper as we had to go buy more since we were there for a whole week, but really not a big deal either way!

A Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying with our family in this spacious home right on the beach. It was clean and comfortable. The property managers were very responsive and it had everything we needed. The only thing we wished for was one or two extra chairs in the living room. The sectional didn’t quite have enough room for all of us.

Great beach house for a family reunion

Our family gathered at this great beach house to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. While there are a lot of steps since the house is on the edge of a cliff leading to the beach, we had no problem navigating the house or the path to the beach. The view from the house is one of the most spectacular you will find. The separation of the living areas allowed our children to stay up late and party/visit without disturbing those of us who wanted to go to bed early. The grandkids loved playing in the sand and exploring the rocks at low tide. The adults enjoyed long walks on the beach as well as just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We would recommend this house to any group who want to gather for a memorable reunion with a variety of ages. The only limitation in staying would be if someone has trouble with stairs or has mobility issues.

Great Space and View

This house has plenty of room for a variety of ages. Just be sure you are okay with stairs. It felt like the beach area was our private beach. We were within walking distance of "Circles in the Sand".
