About Vacation Homes Bozeman

Greetings from Vacation Homes Bozeman!

My name is Celeste and my husband's name is Jason. We have been married 20 years. We moved to Bozeman 10 years ago from Seattle Washington and even though we love the Pacific Northwest, Bozeman has become home to us. We feel very blessed to raise our children in this family-friendly community. We own a painting company, and we are involved in real estate investing.

We love to enjoy the outdoors, travel and stay in other VRBO's as time and commitments permit. We ski and do some snowboarding, we mountain bike, dirt bike, and love to camp and surf behind our boat in the summer.

We are a very musical family and love to come together and have family jam sessions. Jason plays guitar and bass in a local band called "Doctors of Geography". He and his band have played in many of Bozeman's lounges and pubs.

We hope you enjoy your stay in Bozeman at our Meyers Lake carriage house.

Vacation Homes Bozeman purchased this apartment in 2009

Why Vacation Homes Bozeman chose Valley West

We bought this property loving that it was located in an award winning neighborhood, with so much to offer. At the time, we had young children, so the park and playground were a huge bonus. Now with two dogs and teenagers, we love walking out the door to miles of walking trails and a lake to paddle board on.

We also learned that Meyer's lake is stocked with fish, so in the spring and summer this makes a great fishing spot.

In the winter, the lake freezes so a section of the lake is designated for ice skating and ice hockey. We have enjoyed using the pavilion for neighborhood Bbq's, as well as the beach volleyball court. We know many families in the neighborhood and are so grateful for a safe and healthy community for our kids to grow up in.

We also love the location, with easy access to all of Bozeman's attractions. In addition, our kids are able to ride their bikes to the mall, three local swim areas, and the dinosaur park. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

What makes this apartment unique

Conveniently located to all of Bozeman's "hot spots!"

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our guest stated that our home was perfect for their stay and conveniently located. They mentioned that the neighborhood was "strikingly beautiful". They really enjoyed the park and playground as well.

This was the perfect size for two people, especially since we had family in the area.

  • 5 of 5

This is a great location even if we hadn't had family a couple of blocks away. Valley West is a wonderful neighborhood for children, walking, enjoying the outdoors. The apartment was neat, clean, and well stocked with all the basics. We had everything that we needed to make for an enjoyable stay. Celeste and Jason (and their tech savvy son, Ethan) were attentive and responded quickly when I messed up the TV stations or when we needed some additional advice or help. I would definitely book with them again whenever I was coming to Bozeman to visit family.

Cozy carriage House

  • 5 of 5

We came out to Bozeman for our son's graduation ceremony. The carriage house was perfect. The bed and pullout couch mattresses were so comfortable. The place was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location was convenient. Thank you Celeste and Jason for a great stay!

Well Appointed

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was as described - very clean and gracious - and the bed was very comfortable. One of the best part of the carriage house for me (besides the snacks) was the washer/dryer since this visit was a second-leg of our journey and I needed to get my kiddos clothes clean. The park and trails across the street were perfect for us as well. This location is great for everything - close to airport, downtown and outdoor activities.

We definitely recommend this location!

Perfect stay, no surprises, home was as described

  • 5 of 5

The carriage house was located in a very quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. My interest are always looking for pleasant walking paths and bingo, right out front was a lovely park foot trail that beckoned me every morning. The home was immaculately cleaned and I felt I was the first person to stay there. Comfort is the key word here, when describing the amenities that are generously provided. Lil'snacks, grand bed and lush sheets and towels made the stay most enjoyable. Celeste our host, was very helpful in giving me some insight and hints into the city of Bozeman. Loved the micro breweries and Co-op organic grocery store shopping. I will be staying here again on my next visit and booking well in advance to secure reservations.

Bozeman is known for being one of the top towns for outdoor recreation and high quality life in the country. It has top rankings in several magazines like Outside, National Geographic adventure, Powder magazine, and Fly Rod and Reel. We absolutely love living in Bozeman, even though it is small, it offers so many activities for all seasons. There is ALWAYS something to do. In the winter our family enjoys skiing at Bridger Bowl ski resort- it is a 25 minute drive, very affordable, and it gets 350 inches of snow on average a year for all ski abilities. After a long day of skiing, we love to go to the Bozeman hot springs to soak in the hot baths, steam rooms, and sauna. Our favorite hot spring is Norris because it offers a little wine bar and live music.

Unique to Bozeman is our Christmas stroll on the first Saturday in December for the lighting of the Christmas lights, Santa on his sleigh, and the horse drawn wagon rides.

One of our favorite Thai restaurants is Sweet Chilis and if you like sushi you must try Dave's Sushi downtown. For breakfast, we love the Nova on Main st. It offers fresh local and organic ingredients with a variety of dishes. If you enjoy Breweries, Bozeman has 10 to choose from. The Outlaw brewery is one of our favorites and we also really like the new brewery, "The Map". It is a short 3 mile drive and overlooks the Bozeman beach. For night life, we enjoy going to the plonk, ale works, and live music venues.

The Gallatin Valley Mall is very close and has a great shops, the recommended Bay restaurant, and a movie theatre. In the summer we enjoy going to music on main Thursday nights for local music, the sweet pea festival, and art walks. We also spend a lot of time on the Gallatin river for white water kayaking, camping, and awesome hikes with awesome views. One of Bozeman's greatest attractions is Yellowstone National Park. If you are limited on time, Old faithful, the geysers, and the Grand canyon are a must see.
