This lovely two bedroom apartment in the popular Fountain Court building. This apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests with 1 Queen bed in the main bedroom, 1 Bunk bed and 1 Trundle in the second bedroom.

This apartment features a Flat Screen Smart T.V, built-in wardrobes, a bath, a separate toilet, combined kitchen & dining, internal laundry, a good sized balcony off the lounge room, security building with a lift and a lock up garage. This apartment is also close to town, Port Macquarie City Bowling Club and the beaches. Luggage trolley in basement. Good value holiday in great location!

Great location, reasonably comfortable

Location is brilliant - walk to town and walk to beach. View and balcony is great. Property was reasonably clean but bathroom could use a deep clean. Queen bed mattress needs replacing as you can feel it move with every single movement of the other person. Kitchen is old but clean and had plenty of cooking utensils. oven stopped working mid-use..property manager had some suggestions but still unable to make it work.

Apt is fine, Building has issues

The apartment is spacious and has a very good view. Commodities such as dishes and pots and pans were scarce and/ or unmatched, old. The carpets were not clean. The building itself is in a good location but did not feel particularly safe. We were woken one night at 3 AM by police sirens and a megaphone. It seems like they were arresting somebody in the building. Two nights later the fire alarm went off With the message to evacuate heard throughout the building. This happened around 8:30 PM then again two more times before 10 pm. Each time it woke up the children and we were confused about whether we were meant to evacuate or not. The elevator in the building is a not very smooth ride( rocks). The building incidents could be just a coincidence. The apartment could get a high rating if it was cleaned and the kitchen ware upgraded.

I have managed properties in this complex for many years & have never heard of any issues, so maybe you were right in saying it may have been a coincidence.

Easy spot, especially with littlies

Reviewer Comments: We moved to the area and needed a temporary rental for almost two months until we found a place to live. We're a family of four. We found the kitchen to be fairly well resourced, I only added a new can opener and knife set to the utensils. There is no exhaust fan above the stove, so we did trigger the smoke alarm a couple of times. The doors were a bit rough, older rollers and came off at one point. Management had someone there pretty much the next day and it was all fixed and much better. There are little latches up high so kids can't get out to the balcony without your help - they are a bit camouflage but are there. This unit is on the 5th floor. There is one section of the balcony with glass panelling, a plinth underneath and another kind of rail. This made me terribly nervous because it does give kids a chance to step higher. If you're already squeamish about kids on balconies - maybe not this house. The views are lovely. We got great sunrises and sunsets, ocean views in both directions. The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to pool, library, town beach, 1 small playground, adventure playground, skate park and bowling club (kids playground and nice bistro meals). The coastal walk is a few hundred metres away too. I did bring linen, but didn't think about tea towels, they are not provided. Beds comfortable. Bedrooms are big. Cleanliness in bathroom and toilet could be better. Building was very quite, noise didn't seem to travel that much between units - well I hope it didn't anyway because my kids were not quiet. Overall this property was great value. The location was perfect. Felt big enough for a long stay, would recommend.

We had views in all directions and even watched the whales dancing from our verandah! We could walk most places and highly recommend this accommodation and booking through Wiseberry. The staff were happy and helpful and nothing was too difficult. I love their ‘can do’ attitude.
