Beach access only 150m away and Somers General store within an easy stroll. Parklands is an open plan vertically clad 60's beach house that has undergone complete renovation. Retaining unique features such as an impressive stone and copper open fire place, beams and timber ceilings. Comprising three bedrooms, two new bathrooms, new gourmet kitchen and a private beachside garden typical of a property in such close proximity to the water.
Come and enjoy the clean sea air and relax with the sounds of waves breaking on either of the two deck areas adjacent to extensive lawns and overlooking a newly designed coastal garden.
No need to cross any roads,climb any stairs or navigate steep paths to access the best beach in Somers.

Tranquil and beautiful home

This house was a pleasure to be in. It is well appointed with everything a family would need and has a lovely warm feel to it. The garden is beautiful, we spent as much time as we could enjoying it and the sound of the ocean which you can hear from the garden. A wonderful home in a beautiful location, along the best part of Somers' beach. Hosts are very welcoming and responsive, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Just what we needed!

This is our second time staying at Parklands Beach house, nearly 5 years between stays and we were happy to find it was still just as beautifully presented, comfortable and inviting. The only difference was the recent extensive landscaping which makes the outdoor space more accessible and kid friendly - great for outdoor entertaining. We hope to be back soon! Jess P

Cosy winter getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at Elizabeth’s easy breezy Somers house which is perfectly set up for families and felt like a home away from home. We loved the warmth & ambience of the interiors and thoughtful detailing. This feels like a house that holds many happy memories and had a lovely atmosphere. Kids had hours of entertainment with the treehouse/ outdoor bath, the vast garden was fantastic for nature play. Everyone loved the cosy fireplace in the evenings and there were loads of games/ books and puzzles to choose from. So great to pour over the range of recipe books and have some new inspiration in the kitchen! 😁 Couldn’t recommend this spot more highly, we can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful holiday house!

We had a fantastic time at this holiday house in Somers, which has been renovated with care, attention and lots of love! Easy access to the beach, plus the house feels very secluded given its position on the block and the planting in the front garden. An absolute highlight was relaxing on the hammock in the back garden under the dappled light of the surrounding trees. The owners were delightful to deal with and kindly let us have a late checkout. Can highly recommend a stay here.

Modern and homey with everything you need

Don't be misled by the humble exterior. Inside is an inviting, cosy and beautifully renovated cottage, including outdoor and indoor entertaining areas that easily absorbed visiting family and friends. We felt at home the moment we entered. A bonus was the full kitchen, including all cookware needs and crockery for entertaining. Our experience was enhanced by the personal attention to our needs by our host. Can highly recommend.

Perfect Parklands

We had an amazing stay at Parklands Ave and found it hard to leave! We felt immediately relaxed in this comfortable, cosy, clean, beautiful and thoughtfully decorated beach house. We loved reading in the hammock in the dappled light of the backyard and the kids loved exploring the garden and climbing trees. Being so close to the beach was perfect for little legs and lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. This beautiful beach house was everything and more than we could have hoped for a wonderful and memorable family holiday. We can't wait to come back!! Thank you

Gorgeous House, Great Location!

We stayed at Parklands Ave beach house and felt instantly at home the moment we walked in the front door. The original 1960's house has been beautifully updated, great outdoor entertaining spaces, well set up for families. Will definitely stay again!
