Not Long Enough

Deja Vu Palm Cove was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the location Deja Vu was everything we hoped for. The house was very comfortable and clean! The pool was great to lounge around in. Robbie was a great host. Weather was almost perfect. We had a great week away.

A Great Place to Stay

Deja Vu is a clean, well set up property which is a short stroll to the Palm Cove Esplanade. The open plan lay out and great outdoor pool area ensure that there is plenty of space for family to be together and have fun.

We had a lovely 1 week stay at de ja vu. Very well equipped with all the little extras.

Beautiful home. Comfy beds and the couch was my husbands favourite! Only thing to note was the dryer wasn't the best. We tried all the different drying options and even after 3hrs our clothes were still wet. Washing line didn't get much sun either but very minor. We would definitely recommend a stay at De Ja Vu! Thanks for having us.

Robbie was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with from the start. Communication was very efficient and some good tips about places to eat etc were provided. We all had a lovely time away.

Great stay !

Escaped Melbourne's winter and had a fantastic holiday with our young children and their Grand parents . The house is vey private , close to the beach/palm cove and was sparking clean. It had a well equipped kitchen which is important to me and is sometime lacking in other rentals . Robbie the host was amazing throughout and a very good communicator , would highly recommend !

The stay was amazing. The property owner was very pleasant with communication from the onset. Along with tip where to dine and tips of things the house had to offer Our family vacation was fantastic and the accommodation was amazing. A massive thank you to the owner and caretaker. Modern and well maintained 3 bedroom townhouse style. Good space for families sharing with privacy and shared areas. Perfect piece of paradise

Outstanding experience from booking right through to the end of our stay. Excellent and friendly communication from owner. House is immaculate and has everything you’d need. Meet and greet at arrival was really helpful and s nice touch. Couldn’t ask for a better location. And follow up phone call from owner was very thoughtful. We’ll be back!

25th April, 19 Thank you for a beautiful time at Deja Vu,. The house is amazing and has everything you could possibly need on a holiday. Quality home at a convenient location to Palm Cove

Just a 5 minute walk to Palm Cove downtown made this home special. Lots of quality ammenities and furnishings. We enjoyed eating in as well as out. The back yard has a wonderful pool with comfortable seating and large table for those evening get togethers. The owners really took time out to make us feel welcome, along with a bottle of champagne upon our arrival. And of course the weather was perfect to top it off! This home had some nice square footage to you didn't feel crowded. A great stay!

Immaculate home in winning location

We are a bit sad to be home in chilly Adelaide after a sensational 8 nights at deja Vu. We wanted to thank you so very much - your house is absolutely fantastic and lovely Bron was wonderful in welcoming us. The toys and bits and pieces for the boys were a hit and really appreciate the thoughtful touch of baby gates. We were so comfortable and the pool was brilliant - many fun afternoons spent here!! We would have no hesitation in recommending Deja vu and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks again for your wonderful customer service and accommodating the change in dates As well as answering our many questions along the way.

Amazing . Loved our holiday at Palm Cove

Thank you so much. We absolutely had the best time, loved the house and Palm Cove. Perfect base to explore Cairns. Great communication with Robbie and Bron thank you for the teddy bear. Sad to go home, can’t wait to come back :) Beautiful home and beautiful location :) would highly recommend a stay at Deja Vu :)

Beautiful holiday home, perfect location.

19th April, 2018 What is there not to love about Deja Vu. From the fully equiped kitchen, really comfy beds, relaxing garden, beautiful pool to beautiful art work around the house. We have had the most fabulous time visiting sights but always keen to get back "home" and jump in the pool. Although we have been busy doing holiday things, I will leave here feeling truely relaxed. From the initial lovely phone call with Robbie (thank-you for all the local info), the warm welcome from Bron with a bottle of bubbles, bunch of flowers and zooper doopers, we have had a wonderful time and we are already planning a return trip. This has been a revelation for my workaholic husband (despite taking a few phone calls) he has really relaxed! Thank-you for a Special time Victoria, Andrew, Monica, Jack, Ella, Evie and Louis McLaren Vale SA

FANTASTIC !!

28 March 2018 Fantastic What a great holiday experience. From our first meeting with Bronwyn at the house to closing of the door on the last day of our stay. Bronwyn was a great greeting, tour, putting easter eggs, champagne in the fridge. The house, what a great choice was made it has it all and is top notch. The kids loved it, especially the pool. Great location, nice walk to the beach and town facilities Robbie followed up with a call upon our arrival to ensure we arrived safe and all is well with the house. From the minute we arrived to when we left we have been made so welcome and special with the way we have been treated. We will certainly have no hesitation in recommending to one and all that are heading to the Cairns area to stay here. Amazing return holiday at Deja Vu!

Our recent 4 week return stay at Déjà vu was amazing! So amazing that we will continue to return. Bron, as our last visit, greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, fresh flowers and lovely wine. Just the tranquility and relaxation of the kitchen out door and living area was perfect for Geoff and I. Pool was used every day, the holiday was enhanced with the weather and having the pool at the perfect temperature for daily swims and lounging. Loved the King Bed and the free Wifi. We adored the art that Robbie & Don have added to their beautiful holiday home. Robbie’s service from the booking of Déjà Vu to our air flights out was outstanding and greatly appreciated. Congratulation’s to Robbie and Don for providing such a beautiful holiday rental beach house.

What an amazing place!!

We have had a blast here for the past week. What an amazing place. We have loved the out door setup and and the kids THOROUGHLY have enjoyed the pool. We will always remember this place as this was our first holiday as a family of five. It has rained every single day while we have been here, but that didn't stop the kids from using the pool even when it rained. The property was amazing

21st March, 17 Our time at Palm Cove was amazing.  We visited the Reef, ATV riding & went to Port Douglas Beach.   The house was perfect, very clean and a perfect set up for 5 people. We thoroughly enjoyed the out door area and the walking distance to Palm Cove.  If we come back to Palm Cove we will definitely come back to Deja vu.   Thanks for the wonderful house and the hospitality! Pam, Jay, Jassie, Nick & Jaime! PS: The Rothermel's RATE this place and our stay at 11 out of a "10" Score  :)

Simply the best

Ruby Wedding Anniversary Celebrations - this called for a very special holiday. Sydney, Melbourne and 4 nights on the Great Ocean Road certainly got things off to a great start! However it turns out that we really saved the best until last. Palm Cove in general and Deja Vu in particular have provided us with the perfect chill out time to ensure that we return relaxed and refreshed and full of happy memories. Your holiday home is simply stunning and everything about it is simply first class. Your attention to detail in every way simply made our time here so very easy. We swam, barbied, sunbathed, washed our cloths, (15 minute cycle how good is that) and just made ourselves at home here. Absolutely perfect!

A little bit about us you are speaking with the owners.
I am Robbie and my husband Don and I own and operate the Harbour View Motel for the last 17 years in Robe South Australia Deja Vu is our holiday house and so we can afford to have it we holiday rent it out and love to share what we enjoy with our guests.

If you know Palm Cove, Deja Vu is only just a short 5 minute walk from the Esplanade as you cut through the alley way at Peppers, opposite the children play ground. If you are going the other end of town to Chill Cafe or Vivo's you turn right and take the short cut the other way. This makes sense only if you know Palm Cove.

If you children are at an age that they love diving in the pool, they will love Deja vu Pool as you dive in the deep end, as well the back yard is completely private, no one can see in.

WHAT DEJA VU HAS TO OFFER: Complete Privacy and Fabulous Beach House!
Bedrooms
Deja Vu would be perfect for groups/couples as it has combination of 3 King bed and a Fold out double sofa couch OR 2 Kings, 2 King Singles and a fold out double sofa couch.
Also there is a separate area upstairs that you can sit and relax and look over the pool but also give each other some space.
Master bedroom has a King bed, large walk in wardrobe, 3 metres of bathroom with double vanities views of the mountains and pool. Private away from the other rooms.
Second bedroom has a King, third bedroom can be a King bed or 2 King Singles, both have a balcony with a large bathroom (bath) to share and private toilet.
Fold out Sofa Couch to relax on in the Upstair Nook area and to have a bit of time out. (Fold out Sofa if required/booked)

Fully Self Contained Kitchen, Dishwasher, Automatic Ice, Water Drink Fridge, as I love cooking I have fitted the kitchen out with all the accessories to cook up a storm and present beautifully on the table.
Downstairs is all open plan living opening out to the outside entertaining area with Weber Q and intimate double day bed. Not forgetting the wonderful 13 Metre heated lap pool that you dive in one end and swim all day any day as it is heated. Our wonderful Pool is a hit with young and old!

Light up the lanterns/candle lights at night time and the peace and tranquility just seems to kick in.
We also have lots of board games, etc to keep children busy.
The property is completely private as it is not in a complex. You have your own private Villa including pool.
The other fabulous point is we are literally only 5 minutes walk to the jetty, esplanade, beach surf club, restaurants & cafe's and shops.
Palm Cove has a great play area all fenced in and under cover on the foreshore for the children which is also a 5 minute walk. You are up the perfect end of town.
You can be picked up in Palm Cove for many tours including the Great Barrier Reef.
