Rustic charm

Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Made me feel right at home. A great base from which to visit the surrounding wineries.

Relaxation Plus!!

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Red Tractor. The house was charmingly decorated and very clean. Beds were really comfy and the shower was great. We met the host Melissa and she was very friendly and helpful, even giving us a lunch to our lunch booking at Margan's Restaurant. We could then walk back to the Retreat which made it very convenient. I would definitely recommend staying at Red Tractor Retreat.

Gorgeous rustic property

We had a lovely stay and the property, the kids and the dog loved being able to wonder round the grounds and play with the local wild life, i think the tree frogs were the favorite. The pool and house were lovely and clean and we enjoys a relaxing 5 days. We will be back! Thanks again The Lanes

Red Tractor Rocks!

Great rustic property and very comfortable. Kitchen easy to prepare meals and beds very comfy. Mobile reception not great and no wifi. good to go off the grid, however the tv is not working due to bad Arial connection and remote not functioning. If you want to watch sport not ideal. TV Probably needs to be up graded. Overall great place.

Nice place...but

Pros; relaxing 😎, pool, location, brekky supplies, comfy beds, fireplace, lovely welcome. Cons; no fly screens, kids were bitten by mozzies on the face each night with doors and windows all shut. The Pool Cleaner came at 7:45am the day we were leaving and used a leaf blower whilst we were trying to have breakfast. I would recommend...but it's hard to forget the cons

Child friendly property for a family gathering

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Red Tractor. The owners were kind enough to let us postpone our booking as we had a Covid outbreak at the time of our original booking. The many toys available where welcome for us as we had 5 children in our group. The property is walking distance to the local shop and playground which was a bonus for us. The only difficulty was there is not secure fencing around the house for dogs. My fault I should remember to ask about fencing prior to booking. It is a lovely property in a peaceful rural setting.

Fantastic property

The property is in a quiet, rural location but well within a short drive to everywhere that you would want to go. The property is quite rustic, but in a very good way. It has literally everything that you could need and more. The pool - which was a great size and depth - was a welcome escape from the heat as was the air-conditioning. We'd certainly return.

Easter Getaway

Rustic country house great fun for 3 boys under 8. Refreshing pool coffee cart very close as well as playground and wineries to visit.We had bikes and all areas surrounding are flat safe roads. Comfy beds breakfast supplies in the fridge, plenty of room for us (4 adults 3 kids).

Rustic and getting back to nature!

This property is set amongst awesome scenery. Close to wineries and many diverse activities. There was a choice of comfort and homey accomodation and in addition, a taste of outback living. The old outside bathroom and tin shack sleeping spaces, provided a unique rustic and stepping back in time experience. The pool was refreshing on hot days and their were places for all incumbents to relax and enjoy the magnificent setting. Only set back was not having walks around the property and surrounds.

Amazing Property

Rustic, but with everything you need. Amazing views, amazing swimming pool, all the little details such as soap, shampoo, fresh flowers, towels, lots of kitchen stuff and everything else you can think of to feel at home. We are trying to work out when we can stay again next. Loved it, and it Is dog friendly so the fur baby loved it too.

Rustic and relaxing

Pure relaxation with all the home comforts. Everything you need in a country setting to seriously escape the rat race. The pool was a boon on hot days.

The red tractor retreat

Loved the location and old style house with the Veranda. Simply relaxing and so close to the wineyards. Our dogs came too and enjoyed themselves.

Great!

We were a group of nine in Broke for a wedding and the accommodation was perfect for us. It is super rustic and has great facilities and extras (eg. pool, bbq, cooking supplies, soaps and breakfast). Only note would be that the second bathroom is an outhouse. Very clean with proper toilet and shower but not attached to the cabins. Would stay again!

Excellent weekend

Red tractor is perfect for a group of couples or families. Plenty of rooms, the pool was great and the kitchen is really well stocked. Would stay here again!

Beautifully Rustic & Great Pool!

We stayed at Red Tractor in December for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a group of 7 adults and found the accommodation very comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a heat wave during our stay so we spent most of our time in the pool which was fantastic. The house and cottages had adequate air con which was also helpful. The delicious breakfast provided lasted us 2 mornings! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back (perhaps in the cooler months!)

Good place to stay

Me and my partner enjoy our stay here , it is first time we use a fire place , and we love it . Everything is available in the kitchen for our cooking so it was great . The only thing I want to mention is just about the shower , the water go hot and cold for some reason so not sure if it is normal for that area . Other then that we are very happy with our stay . The breakfast provided was really nice too , thank you

Rustic but not great for small children

Our group stayed at Red Tractor Retreat over the long weekend and included my parents, siblings and our children. We certainly found the house to be rustic, although the beds were very comfortable. I wouldn't call it a relaxing home to stay in with small children as there are a lot of breakables through the house, the deck is completely open with no railings and whilst we were told there would be 2 portacots available, only one of these was suitable for use as the other is the cot shown in the photos which I doubt would meet modern safety standards and was also on a slant due to a broken wheel. The room my husband and I stayed in (along with our 1 year old) had only half of the built in wardrobe able to be opened and that half was full of cleaning products and supplies. There were also some electrical fittings/lights which were damaged and required replacement. Overall the house was comfortable enough and the additional rooms met our needs although I'm not sure that we would stay here again, certainly not with small children. On the positive side, the property manager was excellent in returning some lost property to us.

Fabulous Property

We had the best weekend. If I could rate six stars I would Beds were super comfortable. The House was lovely and clean, everything you need is there,.Pool lovely and clean. Wonderful owners who came by to make sure everything was ok!!

Great property

We had a fabulous time. the propertyhad everything we could need and more and was a great space to spend time with our family and where everyone could relax. Will definitely come again.
