Fantastic!

Fantastic! We had the best time. Family-friendly and perfect for our group. The small touches like the high-chair and the fresh eggs from the chickens and the fresh veggies from the veggie patch made all the difference. We would definitely recommend Retreat At Renfrew.

Amazing Location and Neighbourhood.

The property is located in nice neighbourhood and very close to the beach. My partner stayed in the property with her friends and enjoyed their stay. There was a scare passed to them by a food delivery guy which was communicated to Tim and he responded straightaway and rest assured the safety. Tim is a super host and would do anything to make the stay comfortable.

Stunning beachside residence

Honestly one of the most beautiful homes I’ve rented. A few minutes walk and you are on gorgeous Werri Beach. The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need. But the timber work throughout the interior and the rear deck area was just insanely beautiful. The views to the escarpment from the deck were a great way to start the day on the outdoor lounge with the morning coffee, or end the day watching the sunset or enjoying the stars from the spa. Magic, and I just wish we could have stayed longer. A fabulous house for our family gathering. Thank you.

Cozy home and great location for exploring the Gerringong area

I stayed here with a group of friends who were all over 30 and we had an infant with us. The amenities are good (bbq, wood fired pizza oven, pool and jacuzzi). The addition of the chickens in the backyard made for a nice homely environment. If you are looking to go out and about and explore the surroundings, then the location is ideal for that. It's a short drive to Gerringong and Berry. The downsides are that there's only one toilet / bathroom (between a group of 8 adults this was a bit inconvenient but we made it work). The television is small and could use an update as well as the internet / wifi. I believe this property would better suit a group of 5-6 people or a couple with 3-4 kids who spend most of their time outside and only come back to sleep or have dinner. The indoor entertainment amenities could be improved. We went as 8 adults mostly single a few couples and the layout is not very catered for that purpose (2 rooms with a queen bed and 1 room with 2x bunks i.e 4 single beds). The property is also surrounded by swampy bushland at the rear, which given the area it's normal to have bugs/ insects/ mosquitoes and you may get the occasional rodent due to the surroundings. We noticed rat bait / rat traps laid near the kitchen area so the owner is obviously aware of this issue and did try to address it as best as possible. Communication with the host was good and check in was easy. Overall I would recommend this property to others, there were only a few small things as stated above which can be improved.

Family Australia Day Getaway

We loved our time at Retreat at Renfrew, Werri Beach - a perfect place to enjoy beaches, waterfalls and just relax - we enjoyed the little extras such as the chickens that lay eggs every day, the pool was a welcome homecoming after long walks, and the pizza oven was a fun alternative to using the kitchen. this place is an easy walk to so much - beaches, bowling, strolling in Gerringong - a lovely reprieve.

A perfect house for a beachside getaway. We didn’t get the weather we hoped for, but the pizza oven, undercover entertaining area and pool were a great way to enjoy time with the family.
