The coziest vacation ever.

The home felt so cozy, the kids loved the pool, the husband and our dad loved the fishing dock, everything was perfect. Our morning coffee view was definitely so breathtaking. The owner had great communication and was always fast to respond. Definitely looking into returning next year!

MLK weekend reunion

The property was very comfortable and easily accommodated our group; when we booked we knew we would have 6-12 people, ended up with 7. Having never been to Houston, we we a little concerned on our route there as we went through the refinery area before we got to this hidden gem. The owners were very responsive when we had questions the first day. It would be helpful to have a “notebook “ of information on hand for how heat/ac, tv, etc work. Unfortunately, we had mostly rainy overcast days, but the view is still great - fun to watch the occasional boat traffic on the river. We had enough plates/utensils for our group, but more would be better to accommodate a larger group or to be able to fill the dishwasher after a couple of meals, instead of just one. The kitchen had adequate cookware - do not expect a “gourmet” kitchen. Overall, this was a great place for my (reunion) group to get together.

Awesome Stay!!!

We stayed with the family and it was awesome. The view from the kitchen and living room made it all worth it. So close to town. I know this is still a river house, so we had some spiders, a couple of Roaches and mosquitos. We have lived in Texas for years and we know that this is normal. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Initially everything seemed great walking in, then members of my group started to notice a few things. We dealt with roaches, mold in the living room and a few other things. I have video evidence.

Beautiful Home

This house was great for me and my friends. I love how secluded the house is and how it is next to a lake. The homeowners were super friendly and very helpful to anything we need it. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and I’m sure I’ll be back soon :)

Beautiful house on the San Jacinto.

House is spacious, clean and well-maintained. The view from inside and outside of the San Jacinto river is breathtaking. We greatly enjoyed kayaking from the dock with some inflatable kayaks we brought. Pool was much enjoyed but it should be noted it is not that deep nor big. For cooling off and kids playing, it worked fine.

Nice House

The house on the inside is just like advertised; very large, comfortable and clean. However the outside needs some attention. We did not plan to swim but would not have based on the condition of the pool. Broken chairs and loungers; we replaced the lights on the deck over the water so we could let the kids look for gosh at night. House was perfect for what we needed but does need attention to the outside if that’s the focus of your stay.

Dream holidays without travel

We live in Sugarland Tx , so my family was surprised when I suggested a change of scenario for the weekend and lease this place tucked away in Houston. I wasn’t keen risking longer travels due to COVID. Amazing place, complete peace and solitude among nature , kind a reminds me of Malaysia. Plan to lease this again for weekend getaways for family gathering.

Exceptional Home with a Beautiful View

This exceptional home is located waterside with a picturesque view. The sunrises on the property were stunning. The amenities of home offered all of our needs. The open layout of the kitchen, family room and dinning was stunning. We enjoyed every aspect of this home. Would definitely stay here again while in the area.

This is, without a doubt, the best vacation home I’ve ever stayed at. The house has a pool, a big kitchen, and an ample hangout living room. Very clean and equipped with everything you could think of. Definitely going back next summer!

Beautifully done

We had a large group stay a weekend in early November for my husband's birthday. All the family was impressed and would love to return. The kids loved it. Family friendly. True advertising that looks exactly like the pics. Great modern design and wonderfully maintained. We couldnt enjoy the pool due to weather but maybe next time we'll go in the summer. Aldo was responsive and welcoming. Definitely a place to return to.

This place was awesome!

We stayed 3 days during August and the weather was great. It was a little cloudy but it kept some of the heat away. The place looks exactly like the pics. The tropical setting was amazing. One of the nicest pools/back yards I have ever been in. Super relaxing and private. The view was breathtaking. The house has a cool layout with an awesome kitchen with lots of counter space. Aldo met us when we arrived and showed us around. He was available to answer any questions we had. The house is in a great location. We will definitely stay at this place again in the future.

Perfect Property ..... so close

This property was great, it is super close to Downtown Houston. The property is brand new and has all the amenities needed and plenty of space. The view of the River is super nice and we had a great time. Worth every penny. I will definitely rent again
