Luxury at its finest!

Beautiful 5th floor unit w/ huge oceanfront balcony providing panoramic ocean views. Featuring floor to ceiling windows / granite countertops in kitchen and all bathrooms / large walk in shower and flat screen tvs! Available through Luxury Beach Rentals, this 2 bedroom suite on the 5th floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers a master bedroom with king bed and attached master bath with granite counter tops and tile flooring. The second bedroom offers two queen beds. Other features include flat screen smart TVs in every room, sleeper sofa in the living room, washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops. This condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. Activities on site include indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

- This is a non smoking building. Including balconies. Smoking is permitted in designated areas

- 25% deposit to make a reservation and full payment due 30 days prior to arrival.

- No motorcycles, trailers, golf carts or pets allowed on the premises.

- Parking limited to two vehicles

I rented the unit online and within a day received confirmation and instructions on how to proceed with the rental. The place was easy to find and looked very nice, just as shown in the pictures. It was a very relaxing stay. The place was very clean and had all the amenities one would need for an extended stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the place.

Perfect unit but very bad hot water heater alarm system

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent except for the hot water heater alarm annoyed us. It started beeping in the early morning service replaced the batteries and then later it started sending out a weird alarm signal and service came out and replaced the batteries again and then at 9:30 at night it started making. aweird alarm signal accompanied by a beeping sound.. it wasn’t until the next morning that service came out and for a third time replace the batteries which resolved the problem. It seems to me this alarm system is faulty.

Family vacation

Property was very clean and well maintained. Also online pictures were exactly how the unit looks in person. Very quiet part of Myrtle beach, I know that some people would prefer that as we do. We would definitely stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: The location of the property is wonderful, close to restaurants and the view is terrific. The carpeting in the 2 bedrooms needs to be upgraded and to have a more finished look bedskirts should be added to the beds. Kitchen is small, but has everything you need. Master bedroom is dark, and does not have an ocean view. South Wind property is well maintained. Bathroom shower curtains need to be changed out. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We sent an email to Luxury Beach Rentals when we first arrived and never got a response back. Overall the Unit was lovely and the view was wonderful. We had a few concerns, we needed to put 2 decorative pillows away during our stay because they were dirty. The shower liner in the master bathroom should have been replaced. If the owners added bedskirts to the beds it would have given the unit a more finished look. There were other minor issues -we were staying a month so we purchased small items like soap dishes and cleaning items that had always been available in other units we have rented in the past.We are returning for the month of March as the view and location were terrific. Many restaurants and shopping areas nearby.

It was cooler when we were there and we wished the indoor pools were climate controlled but they were really just outdoor pools because there was no glass in the windows/doors. Kids played in it anyway. Condo is close to everything.
