MounTin Hut - Central Bright

Stay just 200 metres from Bright's river, cafe and shopping precinct in a quiet location off the main road. MounTin Hut provides brand new self contained holiday accommodation inspired by the traditions and history of the Victorian High Country to complete your holiday experience.

Featuring seamless indoor/outdoor living, MounTin Hut has style and elegance plus all the facilities to ensure your comfort. A large outside deck lets you relax outside and take in the surrounding hills. Or stay in and enjoy the beautiful polished concrete floor featuring local river rock, open space living, and a first class kitchen designed and built by one of Bright's leading joinery businesses.

Bedrooms are each fitted out with king beds. One bedroom is able to be split into long singles for children or adult guests requiring separate beds. Ensuite bathrooms are designed for comfort, featuring large shower recesses and solid timber vanities. High quality kitchen appliances include an induction hot plate, oven, dishwasher, and microwave.

MounTin Hut also contains laundry facilities and lockable storage for bike, ski and other sporting gear. Your comfort is ensured year round with two reverse cycle air conditioners and a stylish gas-log fire. Just perfect to sit around after a day at the snow!

Please note that bookings for two people assume use of one bedroom only. If you require two bedrooms for bookings of two people please note this on your booking and you will be charged an additional $30 per night.

MounTin Hut is a completely smoke free property. Smokers making a booking accept that they will be charged an additional cleaning fee for extra laundering of soft furnishings, and, potentially, for the hire of odour removing equipment if required.

Standout Property in Bright

Excellent, extremely well maintained property located centrally to all of the best things that Bright has to offer. Property is very well fitted out with everything you could need. Michelle was very responsive in all of our queries and I would happily recommend the property to others as a standout in Bright.

Excellent property in a fabulous location!

We stayed at MounTin Hut for 8 nights in winter - it has to be in the best location in Bright, only 2-3 mins walk to the Bright Brewery, Riverside Café and River. All the bike trails are on your doorstep. The property itself was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in - absolutely spotless. The house was well maintained (like new) and everything felt luxury (linen, towels etc.) The upstairs master bedroom and ensuite bathroom was fantastic and we appreciated the extra storage space for all our bikes. Great contact with the owner throughout, I would highly recommend this property.

Our family of 4 loved our stay so much. House was modern and clean and an incredible location. Loved the shower view. We have told all our friends and will be back for sure!

Perfect!

Conveniently located close to shops, Cafés and Restaurants, MounTin Hut is just lovely - modern fit out, clean and has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed with full size fridge, oven & hotplates (plus microwave) and plenty of cookware provided should you wish to cook family meals (or even bake muffins!) We made good use of the shaded deck too. Would definitely book again. Thank you Michelle, you have created a luxury haven which was a pleasure to experience.

Perfect size, quality and location

The MounTin Hut was perfect for two adult couples. It was modern, well appointed and really well laid out. The separate rooms with en suites which meant we had our own space and weren’t fighting for the facilities. The deck was great on the warmer evenings. Really close to town which meant a less than 10 minute walk to great food, wine and gin!

Perfect house to experience Bright

The MounTin house was one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean and perfectly set up for a relaxing mountain escape. The aesthetics of the house are very inspiring and there is not a detail that has being forgotten. We would love to return soon.

Central luxury home away from home

Wonderfully designed and presented property. Modern and comfortable and easy walk into town. Enjoyed a fantastic week of riding, fishing, wineries, bush walks ....and relaxing with a few good books. Could not have asked for a better week away.

Beautiful stay

A beautifully presented property which was immaculate in every way. Clean, comfortable and cosy would be the most succinct way to describe mount tin hit. Also very close to town, we walked there every day, yet despite this it was very peaceful. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway.

Beautiful house!

Great house

We really enjoyed our first trip to Bright and in particular our stay in this lovely house. It has all of the luxuries of home, including lovely linen. Our 5 year old son loved it so much that he declared that he wanted to live there! The house is well located, being a short walk into town. And a great base for day trips to the ski fields and wineries.

Very pleasant property

Wow! Beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at MounTin Hut. This was our 4th year in Bright and still loving it. Location was great, just a few minutes walk into town. The views from upstairs are beautiful, especially from the bathroom! Lovely decor and home comfortably fits 4 people. Highly recommend this property. Thanks Michelle and John.

Beautiful home, great location

Had a beautiful, relaxing stay at MounTin Hut in April. The home is brilliantly designed and beautifully appointed, in a great location just a few minutes walk into town. We stayed with our 15 mth old and Michelle was so helpful, installing a child safety gate before the stairs and bringing a portacot for us last minute (when we realised we'd forgotten some parts for ours). Loved our stay and highly recommend.

MounTin Hut is outstanding!

This was our 6th January in Bright and MounTin Hut was by far the BEST place we've stayed! Comfy beds, lovely decor, clean and a perfect quiet location. 2 minutes and you're at the waterhole 5 and you're in town! I loved the extras that most rentals don't provide like gourmet teas and coffee, toilet paper rolls (not just one on the holder) dish washing liquid, dishwasher power, washing powder, extra towels for the river!! You really are set! The polished concrete floors are amazing and the bathrooms WOW!! It was far too hot to use the fire but I'm sure it would be beautiful in winter! The views from upstairs are great! I loved having a shower while daydreaming at the mountains (you could even watch the para gliders drifting down from the top of the mountain. We've already rebooked for next January and can't wait! Thanks Michelle. You've done an outstanding job on the MounTin Hut!
