EMILY COTTAGE is one of our two self-contained, luxury one-bedroom cottages nestled on the banks of the Crabtree River.

Located Just 25 minutes from Hobart, seven minutes from Huonville and 20 minutes to Kingston and Kingston Beach this is the perfect base for exploring Hobart’s cultural highlights, like the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), as well as the natural beauty and attractions of the Huon Valley.

High, vaulted ceilings and dormer windows to view the stars at night.

A large veranda overlooking the Crabtree River and the pastures beyond. Relax on the deck and watch the river roll bye.

Slow combustion fire, two person spa and French-influenced bedroom make the cottage the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway.

Visiting or re-locating to the Huon Valley this fully furnished, fully equipped, self contained and self catering cottage provides your home away from home. Serviced weekly

Cook a meal in the kitchenette using produce gathered during a day exploring the Huon Valley, then curl up by the fire sipping your complimentary port.

We stayed in Emily Cottage for a week and it was a very comfortable home away from home for us- we especially loved the peace and quiet and the sound of the creek over the rocks.The cottage had everything that we needed.

Consider local produce

The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed.
