DARWIN (NORTHERN SUBURBS)
1 Bedroom Avail in a fully Furnished House (RAPID CREEK).
It has x2 single beds with air-conditioner, fan and inbuilt robes.
We are halfway to town, and halfway to the northern suburbs.
Close to 3 Shopping Centres and 3 Weekend Markets, situated across from a primary school and down the road to a childcare centre.
Jump on Public transport (bus) or try 'foot falcon" (walking) which is the rage, as we are walking distance to the beach and the pub, and very near to a number of Food take-aways.
Or you can have quiet drinks and entertain friends on the back patio.
The house has lourve windows, fans and air-con to keep the house nice and cool.
We have a recently renovated kitchen and bathroom, that has a large lounge area, but, small dining room.'
The spa is clean and sparkly, and ready to use or the local public pool down the road !
The house has a large back patio with fluoro lights, tv, table & chairs, and a bbq ... so you can entertain your guests; have a quiet night at home; or have a drink and smoke at the back.
It's ok to stay in touch with mankind, so while we are NBN connected sadly we are not internet (WIFI) connected,
Yes, there is TV with local channels, but sadly no Foxtel; Netflix or any other "movie channel"
If you like gardening, then go for it!
During Wet Season, the garden is lusciously green and wet and during Dry Season, sadly very dry and brown, despite frequent watering.
The largeness of the property encourages native animals (geese, frill neck lizards, blue tongues, etc) to come and say hi, please don't touch them, but you can leave them your left over foods (salads, fruits, etc) by throwing it into the garden at the back!
Please enjoy, relax and have fun because if you are away from your Home Away From Home, then we want you, to enjoy our Home Away From Home!

Wayne & Jay Was awesome meeting you both - I'm just sorry your crabbing and fishing trip was real gammon. Next time you visit the Top End, definite discount on accommodation but, will also get a "real" local to take you out crabbing and fishing, so you better stay more than a weekend lol. Sarina

Bill, Chrissy and Brad - I was sad to see you all go, but I know that you all enjoyed your NT trip and as your Host that made me happy. I am also glad that I was able to share local activities (e.g. bingo, jazz club, markets, etc) with you all because many times people come to Darwin and they just do the tourist stuff. So I was happy to share and do local stuff with you's. GO THE BULLDOGS and keep singing your bulldog anthem where-ever you go!

A hostess with the mostess
Loved our stay. Location was perfect for us, walking distance to local markets, coffee shops and swimming. Sarina was great; showed us round, talked about life in the NT and actually drove us round to show us some local sights.
Thoroughly recommended. Thanks Sar!

Great Location
The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the property is central to the city and Casuarina shopping centre. Only minutes away from several shopping centres and entertainment. The property met our needs, although a little dirty/dusty inside cupboards and on benches. This can occur due to periods of no occupancy. Some kitchenware and appliances were dirty from previous users. Overall, would highly recommend this property.
