A very comfortable stay

The property is well located and well stocked with crockery, cutlery, towels etc. Yummy and John were very helpful. We had a hectic schedule in Cairns so it was nice to get back to the house and relax

Yummy and John are excellent hosts, very accommodating. Great location with all the creature comforts we required. Have stayed there before and will again next time we go to Cairns.

Hosts were great

Hosts live next door and were easy to get in contact with if needed. When we got there one of the beds had a big cockroach in it but other than that it was clean.

Convenient location within a short walking distance of the beach area.

Unit was easy to access from the airport. Entry instructions were accurate and easy to follow. Unit was clean and stocked with breakfast beverages. Ground coffee would be preferable to instant, but not a deal breaker. Pool was a nice amenity. Washer and dryer a plus!

The owner of the property lives next door.

Not bad. i would like to see them move the rubbish from the entrance. i think this creates a bad first impression. Very nice owners and good people.

Was alright

We booked based on the reviews written and I must admit I found them inaccurate. Place was large, clean, beds were comfortable, and was nice to have a kitchen again. But also it was an extremely noisy neighbourhood, on a main road with KFC and McDonalds on the corner. Upstairs was rented, or owners lived there, and they were loud late at night (could hear everything through the ceiling), the couch was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on, the aircon didn’t work in one bedroom, and the curtains in our room let in all the light. Wouldn’t take much to fix most of this though.

Holiday for 4 days in Cairns

Accommodation was good, plenty of room. Good location. Great pool and BBQ area, lots of road traffic noise busy street, and we rented downstairs, upstairs people were very noisy could hear them walking stamping feet.

Nice property and very spacious and sparkling clean!

Very spacious. When bathroom is indoors while the second is out on the patio in the laundry room with no air conditioning. Otherwise a terrific place to stay!

Yummy and John are great host, very hospitable. I was in Cairns for cultural reasons and the location was convenient. This will be my home away from home when I am in Cairns.

Nice location with all the amenities!

We were only able to enjoy the apartment for one evening as we were only in Cairns for one day, but it had all the amenities that we could have asked for. Everything was clean, up-to-date, and in good working order. The beds were also comfortable! It was close enough to the activities in downtown Cairns that we were able to walk there. If you are going to be in Cairns and need a place to stay, we would recommend this apartment to anyone even families!
