Maison de campagne High Country (Beaumont)

DĂ©tendez-vous, dĂ©tendez-vous et rechargez-vous dans la tranquillitĂ© de cette gracieuse maison de campagne situĂ©e aux abords du parc national de Lamington, Ă  90 minutes de route de Brisbane et de la Gold Coast. La maison se trouve sur un haut rebord qui a Ă©tĂ© coupĂ© dans la forĂȘt tropicale. En consĂ©quence, vous pouvez admirer la magnifique vue sur la forĂȘt tropicale depuis toutes les chambres et admirer les vallĂ©es de la Scenic Rim depuis la vĂ©randa.
Explorez, randonnez, nagez, profitez de nombreux jeux avec vos amis et votre famille sans frais supplémentaires ou détendez-vous simplement dans le calme de la brousse.
La maison comprend deux grands espaces de vie, des cheminées intérieures et extérieures, une cuisine de campagne bien équipée, trois grandes chambres, deux salles de bains et une salle de jeux séparée avec table de ping-pong.

Les jardins établis entourent la maison et comprennent un beau jardin de cottage anglais avec beaucoup d'herbes fraßches. Promenez-vous le long de sentiers de randonnée bien balisés sur toute la propriété de 70 hectares. Les sentiers s'adressent à tous les niveaux de condition physique. Vous pourriez avoir un pique-nique sur le sommet si vous vous sentez énergique ou, pour quelque chose de plus relaxant, vous rafraßchir dans Chinghee Creek, qui traverse la propriété.

Beaumont est l'une de nos deux propriĂ©tĂ©s d'Ă©levage. Ici, nous courons 80 Ă  100 tĂȘtes de bouvillons silencieux qui broutent Ă  travers trois paddocks. Nous pratiquons la manipulation du bĂ©tail Ă  faible stress afin que les bouvillons soient calmes et amicaux et notre impact sur l'environnement soit minime.

La faune, en particulier les oiseaux, est abondante autour de la maison et dans toute la propriété. Vous verrez des kangourous, des wallabies, des dindes de brousse et de nombreuses espÚces d'oiseaux différentes. Vous pourriez également apercevoir un dingo, un opossum ou le petit renard qui visite de temps en temps.
Les couples de mĂȘme sexe sont les bienvenus
Le Scenic Rim est connu pour les arts, les festivals culturels et les six parcs nationaux sont à proximité du logement.

The house and it's outlook are beautiful. It offers a rural retreat with all the comforts of home. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained and our hosts had thoughtfully provided added extras to make our stay more homely. The peaceful rural location also means that shops are not handy, so we took most of our supplies with us. We were greeted with warmth and lots of local information that made our stay extra special. We had a wonderful break and highly recommend this lovely home.

Wonderful place for a break from the rat race

Very private and scenic surroundings. Beautiful old house and lovely area. Well appointed and perfect to get away and just enjoy some time, just what the doctor ordered. Host was excellent.

We’re a group of ladies who seek quiet, comfortable & memorable places to stay for a Christmas in July weekend every year. Beaumont Homestead didn’t disappoint us. It was amazingly peaceful, we could not get enough of the view from the veranda where we spent most of the day time and we absolutely adored Beatrix Potter’s garden. Claire was very accommodating to our needs, we were very cosy at night with the fire and comfy in our toasty beds. An enjoyable, relaxing Christmas weekend was had by us all. Thankyou Claire

Gorgeous Getaway - Perfect in every way!

The only thing we didn't like was leaving. The property is just gorgeous and presented beautifully by the hosts who couldn't be more welcoming. We'll definitely be headed back for a longer stay next time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from life's hustle and bustle!

Beautiful location for a long weekend

We visited with our children and my parents and had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, with plenty of room for all of us. There were lots of things to do in the surrounding area, but the house was also stocked up with books and games and a games room for the kids. They loved the ping pong table.

Secluded getaway

Property is located a beautiful part of the scenic rim. Well set up for a couple or a large family. Easy check in and communication was good. The property was well presented being very clean and tidy. Plenty of things to see and do. Would highly recommend if you love the peace and quite of nature

Wonderful place to relax & get away from it all

The property is beautiful , & caters to every age group.The host Clare went out of her way to make us feel welcome, giving us a tour of the property. The views from the top of the valley are beautiful. The house has a wonderful welcoming feel as soon as you walk in the door.It was spotlessly clean, & equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. I highly recommend staying there, & would love to return when I get the chance

Fantastic Property

Beautiful property which I can’t fault. Had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend, no internet turned out to be a bonus as we could switch off from families and the net. Claire was wonderful checking in with us on the Sat morning and offered us a trip in her buggy to see the wonderful views from the top of the valley. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

A Perfect Getaway

Claire and Rod are amazing hosts. They checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and they were quick to answer any questions. Beaumont Homestead is so well set up and everything is there to have a fantastic holiday. The house was spotless, all the amenities are of a high standard and we could not have been more comfortable. Don't think twice - just book and go!

This is such a lovely relaxing place to spend a few days. The house was so comfortable, well appointed and the views from the living area are just gorgeous. The verandah is sun-drenched and you can follow the winter sun around the house over the day, always finding a sunny spot to read your book, sip your wine or just have a nap. It's also so quiet - no nearby roads - just birdsong! We would certainly visit again.

Great Escape

What a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Beautiful garden with so many beautiful plants and huge veranda set out for any time of the day to soak in the sun and magnificent view. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. We are definitely hoping to get back and enjoy the garden in a different season.

Peace, tranquility and views

We loved our stay at Beaumont Homestead!! The setting is beautiful, as are the views of the garden and beyond. Having no mobile coverage, or internet, was the perfect excuse to read, relax and nap. We had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The wallabies and the hares made regular appearances for us. I would highly recommend spending some time here.

Quiet,peaceful and downtime from screens and phones

We very much enjoyed the setting of Beaumont lodge ,its cleanliness and comfort. The views,breezes birds and garden were a delight. We went on some lovely walks. We did think the swimming was based on the property but it is several kilometres drive away on private property. Apart from that it was a very charming stay.

Our families were the original settlers in this area in the 1800s. We both grew up around Beaudesert - we went to school together. We have lived in different places around Queensland but we have come back to our home area to retire.
