An absolutely amazing little cottage, a quaint retreat. Was a great way to detox from your day to day constraints.The scenery was amazing and the sunrise is worth setting your alarm to so that you don't miss out on it every morning.

Ginas cottage was like going to nanas house that loves you the most! The cottage was immaculate- bedsheets fresh and beds lovingly, properly made. Gina brought out a portacot for us and popped the lights on for us as we arrived late. The cottage is very well located to go to the bendemeer pub- which was bustling and very good. Gina was communicative and quick to reply. We will stay again!!

Very, very nice

An idyllic country escape, yet close to Tamworth, Armidale and Uralla. And a generous host who went out of her way to make us comfortable. Mountain and river walks, breathtaking scenery and a cosy cottage with everything we needed. The family and I loved it even more the second time!

Beautiful location, charming cottage

The cottage had beautiful views of the mountains around it and was at the foot of one that we walked up. The cottage itself was small but extremely charming and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this for families.

Loved our stay at Gina's. It is actually nicer than the photos on Stayz, which is a rarity. The front garden has a sweet area for lunch in the sun, with great outdoor furniture. It felt very much like a cottage in the country. Aussie homes like this are prone to be a bit flimsy, compared to European homes built of stone etc. But this home was well heated and each bed had an electric blanket. We enjoyed our stay.

Stunning, peaceful location.

My husband & I recently stayed at this lovely cottage for the weekend. Gina was very welcoming & the cottage was very clean, comfortable, cosy and warm. There are plenty of books to read or you can go walking around the property. The beautiful view out of the kitchen window was like a painting! The fresh air was great and the property very peaceful. Would definitely recommend if you're after a weekend with no TV & a chance to unwind. Thanks Gina, if ever we are back up your way we would love to come stay again. :)

Excellent Stay

Stayed for a week while in the area for an event. The property was perfect for what we required, it was fantastic having access to a kitchen and full facilities. Hosts were beyond accomodating and helpful which we again appreciated. Would absolutely stay again and recommend the property to others.

Great halfway stop between Brissie & Sydney

Our second overnight stay at the cottage. Stayed with extended family (4 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs). Very comfortable and cosy. Gina is a friendly and accomodating host. Lovely area for walks and runs.

Cosy & Comfy

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed staying here whilst we had a function nearby. In the home we enjoyed the peace & tranquility of no wifi/phone reception, gorgeous home grown flowers, board games, warm heaters, fresh linens and electric blankets. Outside was beautiful rolling hills, an enormous gum tree and the opportunity for a bbq and outdoor fire pit/stones. We took our own kindling but unfortunately due to rainy weather, we didn’t have the opportunity to light the fire or gaze up at the beautiful stars. We look forward to coming again, and hopefully spending time down at the river. Thank you for being part of our families happy occasion.

Delightful country setting

A well set up 2 bedroom house on a large working cattle and sheep property about 40 minutes north of Tamworth NSW (6 mins north of Bendemeer). The hosts, who lived a short walk away, were warm and welcoming and provided for my comfort. The outlook on all sides of the property was restful and true north-west slopes and plains country. Up to 2 small dogs are welcome. Its worth a visit longer than a weekend especially if you are travelling for half a day or more.
