Great little beach shack, easy walk into town. Lovely view of the paddock from the back yard and the basketball ring in the yard kept us entertained in the down times. We had a lovely wind down here and enjoyed every minute. House is very clean, has a BBQ, plenty of cooking and cutlery etc. The only downside is the ventilation in the house isn't great so we had to have the fans on the whole time. Everything else was top notch! Loved every minute of our stay and as long as you are after a beach shack and nothing fancy you will love it at the Myrtles.
Great spot, handy to everything perfect for a peaceful break.

Convenient and charming beach shack
The Myrtles is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and located at the entrance of Sandy Point. The back garden is charming and open to a paddock. We could hear the cows mooing. There is no fence and no bush so the neighbours living room give direct view to the garden but we didn't mind too much.
The only downside is the house is very poorly insulated and tends to be hotter inside than outside, there are very few fly screens so we couldn't aerate the house well to cool it down. There are a couple of old fans but no air conditioning.
The bedrooms are decent size but we had to fit our portable cot in the living room. The bathroom is tiny but functional. Overall we had a very relaxing time there and would come back.
